    Objectives :-

    • The University of Lucknow is happy to start Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship scheme intended to provide financial assistancetoneedy students to help continue their studies.
    • This scheme will provide financial assistance to needy and deserving students to pursue their studies in the University.

    Financial Assistance :-

    • The Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship would provide financial assistance upto Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) or actual annual/semester fees, whichever is less.

    Number of Scholarships :-

    • The number of students to be selected for Chhatra Kalyan Scholarship would be decided by the aforementioned Committee.

    How to Apply :-

    • Interested students may submit online application in the prescribed format to the DSW Office at the time of commencement of new academic session each year

    Placement
    Lucknow University placements are overseen by the Central Placement Cell (CPC). The main aim of the University of Lucknow placement cell is to get the students placed in reputed multinational companies, Indian companies and government NGOs. Students who are registered to CPC are provided with placement assistance and counseling for employment. Lucknow University placement cell also conducts seminars and workshops. These are organised to increase the employability of the students and enable them to become successful professionals. During the Lucknow University, placement training students are trained according to the requirements of the corporate world.
    The University of Lucknow placement record ranges anywhere from 35% to 95% of its students placed in its annual recruitment drive. Affiliated with over 500 colleges, the university observes several varied statistics in placement percentages and CTCs offered to eligible candidates. Several top organisations of the nation, such as Google, HCL, Bank of Baroda, Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, TCS and Wipro, visit the campus for hiring purposes.     • Lucknow University Disaffiliated Ayurveda Unani Colleges :-
      Sanjay Medhavi, registrar at Lucknow University, said: "All Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy institutes in the state would henceforth be affiliated with Ayush University, according to the UP government. In accordance with the directive, we authorised the affiliation change proposal in the meeting ".
      The LU executive council met on Wednesday and decided to de-affiliate these colleges.
    • Lucknow University Time Table 2022 :-
      Lucknow University Time Table 2022 has been released for MA, B.El.Ed, M.Sc, BUMS & B.Sc Semester examinatioins on the official website, lkouniv.ac.in. Students can check the Lucknow University available in pdf format to know the exam date, time, day, paper code, paper name, and exam duration is mentioned on the exam schedule.
      Students must register for the Lucknow University exam within the date mentioned by the varsity. It is mandatory to carry the admit card and valid identity proof on the day of the exam.
    • Lucknow University to Offer Masters Degree In Textile Design :-
      Lucknow University will consider the option to include the program at the master’s level during an Academic Council meeting on October 14, 2022. If the proposal is approved, students will also be able to pursue a master's degree in this programme.
      Professor Ratan Kumar, Principal and Dean of Arts and Crafts College informed that the Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA) in Textile program is currently a self-financing course. As of now, the university offers ten admission seats for this program.
      The proposal for offering a Master's degree (MFA) in Textile Design was authorised during a Faculty Council meeting held a while back. It has now been submitted for clearance to the Vidya Parishad.
    • Lucknow University PG and PG Diploma Admission 2022 Open
      Lucknow University is inviting applications for postgraduate programmes, Diploma in Pharmacy, PG Management courses, M.Ed programmes, B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed programmes, PG Diploma, Advance Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programmes.
      Candidates who have not received their certificates or mark sheets of the last qualification can also apply to the courses at Lucknow University. However, they need to fulfil the eligibility criteria and produce the same at the time of admission.
      Admission to Lucknow University has extended now. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till the extended deadline – August 30, 2022.
