The placements were really good with more than 80% of students getting placement offers from different companies. From the seventh semester, all students are eligible to sit for the campus placements except those who have backlogs. 4th sem after Intern the eligible for campus placement Novotel and lemon tree we visited.
Admitting to UEM Kolkata is very much surprise for me.As I wanted to get admission in IEM Kolkata but I got admitted in this university.Uem Kolkata takes admission on the basis of IEMJEE and 12th board percentage.Candidate more than 60 percentage in 12th board are eligible to take admission in our university.

University of Engineering and Management (UEM) Kolkata was established in the year 2014 The Institute is awarded Life Time Institutional Membership of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). It is approved by UGC, AICTE and IEM is accredited with ‘Grade A’ by NAAC. UEM is promoted by the Institute of Engineering and Management Trust (IEM). It offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in Engineering, Management, and Science. Admission to UEM Kolkata is done on the basis of valid marks secured in national or state entrance tests. In the year 2017-2021, more than 607 students got placed with the highest package of INR 72 LPA by IEMA Research & Development Pvt. Ltd. and the average package of INR 4.5 LPA. Wipro has selected 60 BCA graduates from IEM GROUP (34 IEM, 26 UEM). IEM-UEM IIPC (Industry Institute Partnership Cell) has signed an MOU with Ericsson, a top Swedish multinational company, for partnership in product research and development in the highly secured R&D labs on the latest cutting edge products like 5G technologies, Drones and UAVs, Autonomous Vehicles, Robots, Industry 4.0, Automation and various IOT based technologies.
