The full form of CISF is Central Industrial Security Force. CISF Assistant Commandant Executive Limited Departmental Competitive Exam is a national-level recruitment exam to fill the vacancies of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Registration
The steps to apply for the CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Recruitment are as follows:
- Visit the official website of UPSC.
- Click on the link ‘Application for CISF-LDCE 2022’.
- Register for the exam by giving out the necessary details such as the Name of the candidate (as recorded in the matriculation/secondary examination certificate), CISF Number, rank, and Date of Birth (as recorded in the secondary examination certificate).
- Enter a valid e-mail ID and mobile number.
- Enter the Captcha code.
- Click the ‘Submit button.
- On successful registration, the registration ID and Password will be sent to the email of the candidate.
- Login and fill out the application form giving out the personal, educational, and category details.
- Upload the necessary documents and scanned photograph and signature.
- Review and Submit the application.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates can pay the application fees for CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Recruitment 2022 both online and offline. SC, ST, Women, and PH candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.
Exam Pattern
CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Exam Pattern
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the written exam in 2 papers followed by a Medical Examination, a Physical Efficiency Test, and a Personality Test/Interview.
The first paper consists of general ability and intelligence questions whereas the second paper consists of essay writing, precise writing, and comprehension questions. There is no negative marking scheme in any of the question papers. The two papers in the CISF AC(EXE) LDCE exam are:
- Paper-1: General Ability & Intelligence and Professional Skills
- Paper -2: Essay, Precis Writing, and Comprehension
CISF AC Paper-1: General Ability & Intelligence and Professional Skills
The Paper-I of the CISF written exam for Assistant Commandants (Executive) LDC Exam has two parts: General Ability and Intelligence and Professional Skills
- Paper-I has 150 questions and carries 300 marks in total.
- The duration of this paper is 2.5 hours.
- This paper will involve Objective Type Questions which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.

CISF Paper-2 of Assistant Commandants (Executive) LDCE written exam also has two parts: Essay & Precis Writing and Comprehension.
- Paper-2 carries 100 marks in total.
- The duration of this paper is 2 hours.
- This paper will involve Descriptive Type Questions in which the candidates will be given an option to write the Essay components in English or Hindi. But the medium of Comprehension Components, Precis Writing, and other communications/language skills will be English only.

CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The candidates who will clear the written exam will have to go through a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Only the candidates who pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are allowed to continue to the personal interview.

The candidates should meet some of the prescribed medical standards to be eligible for the post of Assistant Commandant given as follows:

- The candidate should not have perceptible and visible glandular swelling anywhere in the body.

CISF Paper-2 Syllabus 2022 for AC (EXE) LDCE 2022
The syllabus for the CISF Recruitment 2022 AC (EXE) LDCE 2022 Paper-2 is as follows:
- Part A (Essay): In this paper, the candidates have to write an essay on the topics related to modern Indian history i.e., geography, knowledge of security and human rights issues, freedom struggle, polity and economy, and analytical ability.
- Part B (Precis Writing and Comprehension): This part includes précis writing, simple grammar, comprehension passages, developing counter arguments, and language testing.
