DU B.Ed Entrance Exam or Delhi University Bachelor of Education Entrance Exam is a university-level entrance exam conducted by Delhi University for the BEd course. Other than the regular B.Ed programs, the two specialty programs offered by the institute are B.Ed in Visual Impairment and B.Ed in Mental Retardation, admissions to which are also granted through DU BEd Entrance Exam.
DU B.Ed 2025 is expected to be conducted in the June 2025. The application form for the same will be released in the May 2025, on the official website of NTA. Eligible candidates can register by generating an application number and creating an application online. Candidates are required to submit their online applications tentatively by the June.
As per DU B.Ed Exam Pattern 2025, the exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions from Reasoning, General Knowledge, Language Proficiency, and Fundamentals of Teaching. Each question will carry 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
The qualifying marks for the general category will be 20 out of 100 marks while it will be 18 marks for reserved categories. Candidates who will qualify for the exam can participate in DU B.Ed Counseling process.

Delhi University sets the eligibility criteria for the B.Ed program. The eligibility criteria vary according to the category. There is a relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate for the OBC category.

Eligibility for Choosing Teaching Subject
Candidates have to choose one subject within a subject category which they must have studied in the qualifying degree for at least 200 marks and obtained at least 50% marks in this subject. This subject category chosen by the candidate will be considered final for preparing the merit list and allocation of institutions. The subject chosen by the candidate from the subject category will be considered as the teaching subject and will remain to be the same throughout the B.Ed program.
Based on DU B.Ed 2025 Exam Pattern, the paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions from Reasoning, General Knowledge, Language Proficiency, and Fundamentals.

Original and two sets of photocopies of relevant documents as mentioned in the table below
I. High School/Secondary School Certificate for verification of date of birth. |
II. A detailed Statement of Marks of Part- I, II, and III at Graduation. In the case of post-graduation being the eligibility, a Statement of Marks at Master’s level. |
III. Provisional certificate or degree of the qualifying examination. |
IV. Relevant certificates/documents from a competent authority, establishing the candidate’s claim for reservation, for candidates belonging to reserved categories. |

B.Ed. students are not permitted to take up any employment (full-time or part-time). The employed candidates admitted to the B.Ed program will have to produce a valid sanction of leave from the employer.
