IB ACIO (Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer) is a high-salaried post in addition to other allowances that are provided by the Government of India. Earlier IB was under the control of internal and external intelligence of the country. But later it was split into two different organizations - Intelligence Bureau and Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW).
