The portal for application to the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant recruitment was open by the conducting authorities from February 18 to February 28, 2022. Being considerate they were further extended to March 02, 2022. Eligibility Criteria

Fulfilling the mentioned eligibility criteria is necessary for the candidates to sit for the ICGAC Exam 2022. The eligibility criteria for the ICGAC recruitment exam are given below:

Age Limit

To be eligible for the ICGAC a candidate must be between the ages of 20 to 24 years. The age relaxations provided are given below:

Educational Qualifications

To apply for the ICGAC exam, one should have the minimum qualifications as asked by the conducting board. The minimum qualifications include

Having a Bachelor's degree issued by an authorized university. The degree should show the candidate having at least 60% aggregate marks in the Bachelor's pursued.
A compulsory combination of subjects in class 12th for 10+2+3 is also necessary. The subject combination made compulsory is Mathematics with Physics. The aggregate marks necessary are 55% in Physics and Mathematics combined.
Candidates lacking Physics and Mathematics as their subjects in Class 12th are not eligible for GD (General Duty).

Exam Pattern

The pattern of the exam includes five important stages. These stages are,
