About
Indian Post is also known as the Post Office under the Ministry of Communication and Department of Posts. Indian Post GDS 2022 will be conducted in both online and offline modes. Candidates have to give an exam and complete it within 3 hours. Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of a merit list. No further exam will be taken for the selection process. The process of online registration will begin from the 2nd week of July 2022. The last date to apply for the same is the last week of July.
Latest Notification
The Indian Post Office has released the notification for recruitment for various vacancies like Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Postman, Mail Guard Sorting Assistant, MTS, Postal Assistant, etc. in many states. Online registrations will begin from 2nd week of July till last week of July.

How to Fill Indian Post Office Application Form 2022
The steps required to apply for Indian Post Office Recruitment 2022 are given below:
Step 1: Go to official website of Indian Post i.e http://www.appost.in/.
Step 2: Go to the registration link provided in the website and click on "Registration". Enter the important details required like Name, Gender, Mobile number, Category, Date of Birth, email etc.
Step 3: One time Password will be generated and sent to the registered Mobile number for verification process. A unique registration number will also be generated.
Step 4: Application fees have to be submitted now through an offline or online method. To pay the fee offline, the candidate has to visit the head post office.
Step 5: Using registration number and other details aspirants need to fill the online application form.
Step 6: Now you need to upload documents required like educational certificates, signatures, photos etc.
Step 7: Click on the button 'Submit details' to submit the form.
Step 8: Take a print out of the form for future references.

Indian Post Office Educational Qualification
- Aspirants applying for different posts in the Indian Post Office must clear the 10th standard exam with passing marks In English and Mathematics from any recognized board.
- Knowledge of the local language is a must. Aspirants must have studied the local language and should have a compulsory knowledge of the local language up to 10th standard.
- Basic Computer knowledge is also a must. Candidates must possess a basic Computer Training Course certificate from any Computer Training Institute run by State Government/Central Government/Boards/Organization/Private Institution of a duration of at least 60 days.
Indian Post Office Age limit and Relaxation
- To apply for the post in Indian Post Office recruitment, The Candidate should not be less than 18 years of age.
- Similarly, the candidate should not exceed the maximum age limit specified by the Post Office, i. e. 40 years.
