About
The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination is abbreviated as KIITEE. The entrance exam is held for all UG, PG, and PhD programs offered by KIIT. It is a standard entrance exam. The entrance exam is distinguished by the fact that registration is free of charge. Separate merit lists are created for each course based on the results of the KIITEE. KIIT conducts counselling and seat allocation to offer admission. The cut-off rank for counselling will be announced based on the availability of seats in various courses. Candidates with a rank higher than the cut-off rank will be contacted for counselling.

Application Form for KIITEE 2025
KIITEE 2025 application form has been released at the official website of KIIT. There is no application fee in KIITEE 2025.The application process of KIITEE 2025 comprises registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of fee. To appear for the exam, applicants must fill the KIITEE application form before the last date. To fill out the online application form, candidates have to follow the below steps:
- Check out the official website.
- Choose 'Online Application' or 'Download'. (If you want to download, print the
downloaded Application Form.) - Fill out the form according to the instructions.
- Fill out and submit the 'Online Application Form'.
- Upload your photo, signature, and 10th Pass Certificate/Mark sheet.
- Candidates should keep photocopies of the 'printed application form' as a reference for future correspondence.
Dates for KIITEE 2025
KIITEE is held in four phases, so candidates must keep track of the dates carefully. Candidates who have taken the KIITEE-2025 (Phase-1 or Phase-2) Online Examination are eligible to take the Phase-3 or Phase-4 Examination. Candidates who have previously applied for the KIITEE-2025 (Phase-1 or Phase-2) Online Examination are not required to reapply for the KIITEE-2025 (Phase-3 or Phase-4) Online Examination; instead, they can appear in the Online Examination using their existing Application Number from Phase-1 or Phase-2.
Admission Procedures for KIITEE 2025
The following steps are involved in the KIITEE 2025 admissions process:
- Applying for KIITEE: Candidates may apply for admission to more than one course.
- Reservations and admit card download: Registered candidates must book their KIITEE 2025 slots online using their individual logins and download the admit card.
- Attend KIITEE: Candidates must take the online remote proctored test.
- Examine the outcome: When the KIITEE 2025 results are released online, candidates can access the official website and download their scorecard.
- Attend Counselling: Candidates must attend counselling according to the schedule.
KIITEE 2025 Slot Reservation (Phase 3)
Registered candidates can book their KIITEEE 2025 test slots on the official website. Candidates must enter their application number and date of birth on the login window to reserve a slot. Candidates should be aware that KIIT slot reservations are made on a first-come-first-served basis. During the KIITEE 2025 slot booking process, candidates must select their preferred exam date and time. Only candidates who have reserved their slots can access the KIITEE 2025 admit card online. Candidates who do not book their KIITEE 2025 slots will be ineligible to take the entrance exam because the university will not issue them admit cards.
Admit Card for KIITEE 2025 (Phase 3)
KIITEE 2025 admit cards can be obtained from the exam's official website. To do so, candidates must go to the KIITEE official website and download the admit card. Candidates who have reserved their slots can only download their KIITEE 2025 admit card online. The KIITEE admit card is an important document that must be kept safe until the exam day. There will be no offline access to the admit card. Candidates will be unable to take the online test unless they have an admit card.
KIITEE 2025 Outcome
Separate Merit lists are prepared for each course based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Examination. By entering their application numbers, candidates can view their KIITEE results. Qualified candidates will receive a Rank Card indicating their position in the Entrance Examination. The rank card can also be downloaded from the website by candidates.
If two or more candidates receive equal marks, their inter-se merit will be determined as follows:
- BTech: On the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Age (preference for older candidates).
- BArch: Based on NATA exam results
- BTech LE: Based on marks obtained in Mathematics, then in Basic Electrical Engineering, and finally on age. (Preference given to older candidates.)
- BSc Nursing: Based on marks in Biology, then Chemistry, and finally age (Preference for older candidates).
- BBA/BCA/Bachelor in Design (Fashion / Textile) / Bachelor in Film & Television Production / BA.LLB / BBA LLB / B.Sc.LLB / Master of Mass Communication(Integrated): Based on Mathematical Ability, Analytical Ability, English, and Age. (Preference given to older applicants)
- Biotechnology-Dual Degree (BTech / MTech) (5 Years): Based on marks obtained in Biology, Chemistry, and age (preference for older candidates)
- B.Sc in Computer Science / BBA (Computer Applications) / B.A Economics (Hons) / B.A English (Hons) / B.A Sociology (Hons) / B.Com: Preference will be given to older candidates.
- MCA: Based on the marks obtained in Computer Awareness, Mathematics, and Age ( Preference for older candidates)
- Preference for Senior Candidates in MTech
- M.Sc. (Applied Microbiology / Biotechnology): Based on marks obtained in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and age (Preference to Older Candidates)
- Preference for Senior Candidates in LLM
- M.Com/M.A in Economics/M.A in English/M.A in Sociology/M.Sc in Computer Science/Master of Mass Communication: Preference is given to older candidates
- Integrated Dual Degree M.Sc. & PhD Programme (5 Years) (Applied Physics / Applied Chemistry / Mathematics and Data Sciences): Preference Given to Senior Candidates.

Undergraduate Course
For the Undergraduate Course level, a candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. A candidate who is going to appear for the final exam can apply for the course. Some of the courses with eligibility criteria are listed below.

Application Fee
There is No Application Fee for KIITEE 2025. KIIT University does not charge any application fee for KIITEE exam.

- KIITEE 2023 result will be tentatively conducted in the 4th week of June 2023.

KIITEE 2025 Cut-off
A cut-off list is prepared by KIIT and will be released in the first week of August 2025. The institute listed the merit ranks based on the cut-off marks. Some important factors for the cut-off score are mentioned below.

Reservation
- 30% of seats in each category will be reserved for women candidates. This is only applicable for B.Tech/ B.Tech- M.Tech dual degree Biotechnology.
- As per the Criteria of KIITEE 2025, all the vacant seats will be converted to General Category.
- Candidates belonging to the SC category have a reservation of 15%, whereas candidates belonging to the ST have a reservation of 7.5%.
- Candidates belonging to the PC category have a 3% reservation of seats.

Counselling
Counselling and seat allocation will be done solely on merit, based on performance in the Entrance Examination. Following the announcement of the results, the counselling schedule is made available on the KIIT website. Candidates must attend the counselling session as scheduled. The counselling process is terminated once all of the KIITEE-2025 seats have been filled.
Document verification would take place at the time of counselling/admission. So that records on identification, age, qualifying examination, and candidate category can be verified. Candidates will not be considered for admission if they fail to establish correctness in any of the documents.
Candidates who have been called for counselling must bring original documents (listed below) as well as token fees to the counselling center.
- 10th Pass Certificate 12th Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate Admit Card Rank Card
- Only MCA, MCA(LE), and M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Applied Microbiology) students receive a graduation mark sheet and a pass certificate.
- Diploma Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet for Three Years (for Lateral Entry Candidates)
- BTech/B.E./MCA/MSc or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For MTech/LLM/PhD Candidates)
- Relevant Certificate from the Competent Authority clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate
- GATE Exam Score Card (for MTech.GATE Qualified only)
- Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- in favour of KIIT, payable in Bhubaneswar, which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable).
- The balance fee, according to the fee structure, is due on the day of reporting.

KIITEE 2025 admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of the exam. For the same, candidates need to visit the official website of KIITEE to download the admit card. Candidates who have booked their slots can download KIITEE 2025 admit card in online mode only. KIITEE admit card is an essential document to be kept safely for exam day. The admit card will not be available in any offline modes. Without the admit card candidates will not be able to appear for the online test.
