KVS PGT stands for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Post Graduate Teacher Recruitment Examination 2022. It is a recruitment exam conducted by the KVS, an autonomous body under the Government of India, every year to recruit thousands of candidates for teaching and non-teaching jobs in colleges and universities.

This Examination is for candidates who want to begin their career as a teacher, librarian, principal, vice-principal, clerk, and other posts. The Examination is conducted through two stages- (a) The Written Examination and (b) the Final Interview Stage for the shortlisted candidates. Latest Notification

The KVS PGT Recruitment Exam notification is issued on the official website of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in their Announcements and Circulars section. The official notification is expected to be tentatively released by July 2022.

The KVS PGT notification is an important document that makes candidates aware of the examination and registration processes. The notification carries essential information regarding the KVS PGT Exam, including exam dates, exam pattern, syllabus, and exam day guidelines. The notification shall also contain the number of vacancies for the PGT, TGT, TRT, and other non-teaching staff.

Registration

Candidates must necessarily take care of the eligibility criteria before proceeding toward the Application form stage of the KVS PGT Exam 2022. To fill out the Application form, candidates should follow the steps listed down below:

Step 1: Candidates should have a valid personal email address before starting the Application

Step 2: Candidates should proceed to the Official Website of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS)-[ www.kvsangathan.nic.in].

Step 3: Candidates can also access the official notification by clicking on the “KVS PGT Jobs Notification” link.

Step 4: In order to initiate the registration process, Candidates must click on the “Apply KVS Posts Online Application Form” link on the official website. The prescribed format of the form will appear on your device screen.

Step 5: The mandatory fields should be duly filled in. All the scanned copies of certificate/ documents, recent photographs, and signatures should be uploaded as per the instructions provided.

Step 6: Candidates then must pay the Examination fees as per their registered category. Cross-check the details entered and click on the "Final Submit" button.

Step 7: When the submission is completed successfully, a system-generated unique login ID and password are mailed to the registered email address.

Step 8: Finally, the print format of the Application must be produced.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the KVS PGT Recruitment Exam 2022 to register for the test. Since the official notification of the Recruitment Exam has not been released yet, the eligibility criteria for last year, i.e., 2021, can be followed. It is expected that not a lot of changes shall reflect in the eligibility criteria of the 2022 recruitment exam as compared to the previous year.

KVS PGT Age Limit:

The age limit for the KVS PGT Recruitment Examination 2022 is an upper limit of 40 years. Only those candidates shall be eligible to register for the Examination whose age at the registration date is less than OR equal to 40 years. There are certain Age Relaxations given to the candidates by KVS as follows:

KVS PGT Educational Qualification

Candidates who wish to become Post-Graduate Teachers through the KVS PGT Recruitment Exam 2022 must fulfill the educational qualification criteria required for registration. The relevant education qualification required is as follows:

(i) Candidates must have completed B.Tech or B.E, B.Sc, BCA, M.Sc, MCA, / any equivalent PG Degree and have B.Ed from any recognized University/ Institution.

(ii) Proficiency in teaching both Hindi and English.

(iii) Knowledge of computer applications is desirable

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee for the online registration form on the official website of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The Application Fees are compulsory for all candidates and are non-refundable. Please find below the Application Fees for different categories of candidates:

(a) Rs 1,000/- for PGT Candidates

(b) SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-serviceman category candidates are not required to pay any fees for the application process.

Candidates can use any mode for payment like credit/debit card, net banking, etc. Candidates need to print out the payment receipt and the KVS PGT application form for future reference.

Exam Pattern

The Written Examination in the KVS PGT Recruitment 2022 is conducted for 150 marks over 150 Minutes. The paper is divided into two main sections: Part 1 ( General Language), Part 2 (GK, Reasoning Ability and Computer Literacy), and Part 3 (The Subject Concerned):
