NHAI (National Highway Authority of India) conducts an exam for the post of Deputy Manager (Technical).

Latest Notification

The NHAI has released the 2025 recruitment notification on February 2025, to fill up to 34 vacant seats for different posts.

Registration

Step 1: NHAI Recruitment Registration Process

Candidates should have a valid personal email I.D. and ensure that it is active during recruitment. The user I.D., password, filled-in application form, and other important communication will be sent on the same registered email I.D.
The applicant should visit the NHAI website www.nhai.gov.in for an Online Application. The link can be opened on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Click on the tab About Us, select Vacancies, then click on Current. Click on the relevant Recruitment advertisement and then select 'Online application'.
Click 'New Registration' and then sign-up by filling up the Application Registration Details Name, Email, Mobile No., Password, Re-type Password, and then select the 'Submit' button for registration. The candidates will receive a User ID & Password on their registered Email address. The User ID will be the given registered Email address provided in the Application Registration Details.

Step 2: NHAI Recruitment Application Form

After successfully registering on the official website, candidates need to fill up the application form for the NHAI recruitment using the steps mentioned below:

Re-login and fill up the requisite or given fields.
Scanned copy of a colour passport size photograph, essential educational / professional qualification(s), and promotion/appointment order, only in 'jpg / 'jpeg' or 'png' or 'gif' image types not more than 1 MB, must be uploaded.
Click on the 'Next' button.
The Application Preview may be seen.
'Preview' and 'Final Submit' buttons are available. Candidates should take utmost care and provide the correct details while filling up the online Application. The candidate can EDIT the information before the final submission of the Application. Once the application form is submitted, it cannot be edited.
If the Applicant is content with the information, click the "Final Submit" button for submitting the application form online. The Online Application may be submitted by May 24,2025.
After submitting the Online Application Form, the 'PDF' format containing details entered by the Applicant shall be generated. The Applicant should print the Online Application Form and get the same forwarded by the parent department along with the 'Verification Certificate' and certified copy of APARs/A.C.R.s.

The candidate should have the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the vacancies

Deputy General Manager (Media Relations)	BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or specialized equivalent qualification from any recognized University or an institute of repute /C OR (ii) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Technology (any discipline) / Science AND MBA (Information System/ Information Technology) / Advance or Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application/ Advanced Computing/ Mobile Computing/I.T. Infrastructure. System and Security, Cyber SecurityEmbedded Systems and Design/ System Software Development/ Big Data Analytics/ Automation SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) Systems or any related field etc./
Manager (Tech)	Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute

NHAI Age Limit

The candidate should have completed the following age to be eligible for the vacancies

The candidate should have the following work experience to get the upper hand in the recruitment process

Manager (Finance & Accounts),Accounts Officer	Seventeen years of total experience in Group ‘A’ [Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400] or equivalent level post or higher on regular basis out of which 7 years experience in Financial Accounting/ Budgeting/ Internal Audit/ Contract Management/ Fund Management/ Disbursement in an organization of repute.
Deputy General Manager (Legal)	Nine years of experience in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- or equivalent or higher out of which six years experience in the fields of Law related to contractual matters/ arbitration/ legislative matters/ land acquisition.
Deputy General Manager (Media Relations)	Minimum 1-3 years Experience in Computer Programming/ Software/ System design/System/Integration related work on an I.T. project.
Manager (Tech)	Three years of experience in implementing Infrastructure Sectors related to Highways, Roads, and Bridges.
