The ARPIT conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to be an ongoing exercise so that every year NRCs will continuously develop new refresher modules in their earmarked discipline each year and the training material will be uploaded and made available through SWAYAM.
Latest Notification
The National Testing Agency will release the notification for the Annual Researcher Programme in Teaching soon on its official website. It is expected that the application process will commence from June onwards, and the last date to submit the NTA ARPIT application form for 2022 was extended till July.
Registration
The candidates aspiring for the NTA ARPIT posts can apply for the examination through an online process. Interested students can apply through the National Testing Agency's official website. The steps to apply for the NTA ARPIT exam are provided below.
Step 1: Click here or visit the board's official website www.NTA.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the official notification for the NTA ARPIT 2022 application form
Step 3: Click on the apply link, and fill in the necessary information to complete the registration
Step 4: Post completing your registration credentials that are sent in the mail.
Step 5: log in to the NTA application page using your credentials
Step 6: Fill out the NTA ARPIT application form and proceed with all the mandatory documents.
Step 7: Submit the scanned documents and upload it in the application page.
Eligibility Criteria

NTA ARPIT Eligibility: Age Limits
The candidate applying for the NTA ARPIT Exam 2022 must fulfil the age criteria as per the official notification. There are no age limit criteria for appearing in the NTA ARPIT 2022 examination.
NTA ARPIT Eligibility: Educational Qualifications
The NTA ARPIT examination has been conducted for teaching faculty to get a Swayam Certificate for the same. Below we have given the eligibility criteria for both types of learner.
- Faculty Learner: Candidates are required to be working in any Indian Institution of higher education. They are required to provide a valid document or ID for proof.
- Non-Faculty Learners: They are eligible for the application for the exam. They must have completed their bachelor's or a diploma degree in a concerned subject.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the required application fees to complete their application process. The NTA ARPIT 2022 Application Fees for different levels of examination as well as the categories are provided below.
- General: INR 1000
- SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Women, PwD: INR 500
Exam Pattern
The NTA ARPIT examination is conducted on only one objective mode. Candidates after qualifying in the examination will be eligible for the Swayam Certificate. Below we talk about the process of the exam.
NTA ARPIT Preliminary Exam Pattern
The exam is conducted online and will be based on multiple objective type questions. The total duration of the exam is three hours for each Paper. For each correct answer, one mark is awarded and 1/3 marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
The exam pattern of the preliminary level exam is given below
