The Rajasthan Police recruitment exam is a state-level examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) for the recruitment of the post vacant in various departments of the Rajasthan Police. The selection of candidates is done on the basis of the written test and physical eligibility. The eligibility criteria differ for the different vacancies in the Rajasthan Police.

Latest Notification

Rajasthan Police Recruitment exam is conducted for the vacancy of various constable posts and other department posts in the Rajasthan Police. The exam is authorized by the board of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). The candidate who qualifies the eligibility criteria of the examination can visit the official website of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for online registration before the last date of application. As per the official notification dated November 10, 2021, issued for Rajasthan Police Recruitment 2022, there are a total of 4438 vacancies for the post of general constable, constable driver, constable band, and other constable posts. Also, the vacancies are announced for the position of Sub-Inspector.

The examination will be conducted on four days i.e., May 13 to 16, 2022 at different examination centers across Rajasthan. The written test is 75 marks and of duration 120 minutes. Registration

It is advisable for all the candidates to apply for the exam only after checking the eligibility criteria. Candidates must fill out and submit the Rajasthan Police Recruitment application form via online mode to appear in the exam. Candidates can follow the following steps to fill out the application form for the Rajasthan Police Recruitment exam.

Step 1: The foremost step for applying is to visit the official website of the Rajasthan Police.

Step 2: Among the many options, choose option “Careers”.

Step 3: Click on the Rajasthan Police Constable Notification.

Step 4: Go through the instruction and eligibility criteria carefully.

Step 5: Click on the “Apply Online” link.

Step 6: Fill in all the necessary personal details in the registration form like Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email ID, etc.

Step 8: Fill in all the other information like education details, preference for exam centers, etc.

Step 9: Now, candidates need to upload the scanned images of their signature and a passport-sized photograph.

Step 10: Preview the application form and make required corrections if any.

Step 11: In the last step, candidates need to make a payment for the application fee to finally submit their application form.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum requirement or the eligibility for appearing in the examination varies for the different post vacancies in Rajasthan Police. As per the official notification, the eligibility criteria for the vacancy in the constable post are:

Education: Candidates must have passed 10th or 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) from the recognized national board or state board.

Age limit: In general, the age limit is 17-26 years for the male candidate whereas it is 17-30 years for the female candidate.

Also, the extension of 5 years and 3 years for the SC/ST and OBC caste candidates respectively.

Note: No relaxation of age limit for the SC/ST/OBC candidate outside of Rajasthan.

Application Fee

The application fee for the general category and OBC candidates for all the posts is Rs. 500/-.

The application fee is Rs. 400/- for the candidates of the OBC (NCL)/ MBC/ EWS category who are residents of Rajasthan. For SC/ ST/ BPL candidates, the application fee is Rs. 400/-.

Candidates can use any mode for payment like credit/debit card, net banking, etc. Candidates need to take a print-out of the payment receipt and the Rajasthan Police Recruitment application form for future reference.

Exam Pattern

It is a subjective type of question paper.
The paper would be of the total of 150 marks.
There will be a negative marking of ¼ for every wrong answer.
