RBI Assistant is a clerical level exam conducted yearly by the Reserve Bank of India to recruit young talent and fulfill the manpower requirement in various RBI offices. RBI Assistant recruitment is conducted in three different stages which are prelims, mains, and language proficiency test.

Steps to Apply for RBI Assistant 2022
The steps to apply for the Reserve Bank of India - Assistant recruitment are provided below.
- Step 1: Visit the official website of RBI i.e., www.rbi.org.in.
- Step 2: Click on the link present on the window as the “Recruitment of Assistant Officials” in RBI.
- Step 3: Now, on the new page, click on online registration under the available ‘apply’ tab.
- Step 4: The registration shall be done through email id and password.
- Step 5: After the completion of the registration process, candidates have to fill out the application form through the registered mobile number or email id of the respective candidates.
- Step 6: Fill in the correct details in the form regarding personal and academic information, and submit the application form after completion.
- Step 7:The procedure will be finalized by making the payment of the fees.
Eligibility Criteria
RBI Assistant Age Limit
The minimum age limit to apply for the post of RBI Assistant is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years old. However, there are relaxations of age for the candidates belonging to different reserved categories.

The relaxations in age limit are provided according to the government norms. The details of category-wise age relaxations are given below.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification
- All the candidates who wish to appear for RBI Assistant Recruitment Exam must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of at least 50% of marks in any relevant discipline from any recognized university/ institute.
- Candidates must hold efficient knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Candidates must have knowledge and proficiency in the official language of the concerned state or union territory by the respective candidates.

Exam Pattern
The RBI Assistant is a three–tier-based examination. Candidates have to clear the Prelims as well as the Mains examination for the final selection. The candidates who qualify in the Preliminary exam are shortlisted for the Mains exam and then the Language Proficiency Test. The final selection will be done on a merit basis.
