About
SET 2025 Registration process has started on December 2024. Interested candidates can apply for the exam at set-test.org till April 2025. SET 2025 Exam Dates are also announced on the official website.The exam is going to be conducted on May 2025 for Test 1 and Test 2 respectively. SET 2025 Admit Card for Test 1 and 2 will be released on April 2025 respectively. Candidates participating in SET 2025 must go through the exam pattern and syllabus. SET 2025 question paper will have 150 questions and there will be no negative marking.

What is SET?
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to Symbiosis institutes. The SET exam is a gateway for admissions to undergraduate courses such as Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Mass Communication, Computer Studies and Liberal Arts. Earlier, the exam was also conducted for B.Sc Culinary Arts but this exam was scrapped in the year 2025 for this course. The SET exam 2025 application form, admit card and results will be available online only and there is no provision for an offline application process.
- SIU has also released the application form for SLAT 2025 on December2024. The last date to fill out and submit the application process is April 2025.
- SEED 2025 registration process is ongoing. The last to submit the application form is December 2025. The exam is going to be conducted on Janury 2025.
- SITEEE 2025 application prcess is also open till April 2025. The exam will be conducted on May 2025. Candidates who wish to join B.Tech courses at SIU have to appear for SITEEE v.

Symbiosis SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Higher Secondary Examination/12th as the qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) taken together in PCB subjects.
- It is mandatory for the students to pass 12th with PCB and English subjects separately.

Application Fee

- Symbiosis SET General/ SLAT/ SITEEE Application Fee is INR 1950.
- An additional fee of INR 1000 has to be paid for each program.
- Symbiosis SEED Application Fee is INR 2950 (INR 1950 for SEED and INR 1000 for Symbiosis Institute of Design)
- Those applying for two exams have to pay an additional fee.
- The fee amount is non-refundable.
- The category of candidates has no effect on the fee amount.
- The fee can be paid via online or offline mode as tabulated below:

Exam Pattern
It is essential that candidates should develop a clear idea about the exam pattern before appearing for Symbiosis Entrance Test. The examination will be conducted for four different programs namely General, Law, Engineering, and Design.

- Duration of Exam: duration of each test is 150 minutes. No extra time will be given for candidates reporting late at the exam center.
- Nature of Questions: Objective type, each question will have 4 responses. Choose the most appropriate one.

Reservation
Symbiosis SET Reservation Policy
SIU offers the provision of reservations for candidates belonging to certain categories. This is in accordance with the UGC guideline 2006. The details of the reservation offered are given below:

Counselling
Symbiosis SET 2025 Counselling
Symbiosis SET 2025 counselling procedure will begin in the month of June 2025. The admission will be made on the basis of rank secured by the candidates in Symbiosis SET 2025 exam. A cut off will be declared by the university, on the basis of which candidates will have to attend the counselling session in person.
Candidate will have to carry the following documents while going for Symbiosis SET 2025 Counselling Procedure:
- Class X Marksheet and Certificate
- Class XII Marksheet and Certificate
- Symbiosis SET 2025 Admit Card
- School leaving certificate
- Migration certificate
- Scorecard of Symbiosis SET 2025
- Caste Certificate
- Address Proof
- 4 passport size photograph
Symbiosis SET 2023 Counselling process shall take place after the declaration of results for Symbiosis SET 2025 Exam. Here is the procedure for Symbiosis SET 2025 Counselling:
- At the time of counselling, candidates must be present in person at a specified time and date.
- Candidates will have to choose their own seats as per their choices during the counselling procedure.
- Carry all the above mentioned original documents along with at least 2 copies of them.
- Once the documents are verified, candidates will be given admission.
- A DD must be submitted in favour of SIU, Pune of the requisite admission fee.
- In case students, would not be allotted any seats in the counselling process they can apply for the waiting list on payment of INR 1,00,000/- through a DD (the fee will be returned in case candidates does not get any seat allotted)

SET Preparation 2025
Candidates planning to appear for the SET 2025 exam must start the preparation at least six months before the test date so that they get enough time to cover all the aspects of SET preparation. Knowing the SET syllabus and exam pattern is important. They must also devise a preparation plan which should include:

SET Admit Card 2025 will release on April for Test 01, and on April for Test 02. SIU has announced the SET admit card release date.
