SSC CHSL Tier 3 will test your practical skills like typing speed. For the post of Data Entry Operator, one needs to have a minimum typing speed of 8000 depression cases per hour.
For highly skilled Data Entry Operators, who are often required by the Comptroller and Auditor General, the typing speed should be 15000 per hour.
The minimum typing speed for Sorting Assistant or Postal Assistant should be 35 words per minute for English and 30 words per minute for Hindi.
