How to SSC CHSL Apply Online 2022?
- Applications consist of two parts and you have to fill both the parts for a successful application.
- First, visit the website https://ssc.nic.in/ and click on the "apply" option from the drop-down menu on the left side.
- Select "CHSL" and the active application form. You will be given some general instructions on the page, go through them and make sure to follow them.
- Then, you will be required to enter the correct information asked there.
- After filling out the first part of the application form, you have to pay the application fee, if required. You can use any online or offline method for paying the fees.
- For paying fees online, you can use debit or credit cards, bank transfers, and e-wallets for payment. If you want to pay offline then you have to create a copy of the SBI challan and pay through the bank.
- Finally, you have to fill out the 2nd part of the application form and upload the scanned copy of the required documents. Make sure all the documents are clear and precise before uploading as applications with blurred or unclear documents will be rejected.
- Once all the details are filled and checked, submit the application form.
- Download the application form and take a printout for future reference.

SSC CHSL Age Limit
- The minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 27 years as of January 01, 2022 for the General category.
- Age relaxations are provided in the upper limit to people from reserved categories.

SSC CHSL Educational Qualification
- The minimum qualification is 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- For people with university degrees obtained from open schooling programs, the degree must be affiliated with the Distance Education Council, IGNOU.
- For the role of Data Entry Operator, candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination in science stream with Mathematics as the main subject from a recognized board or university.

Exam Pattern
SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2022
This is an online test consisting of four sections with objective questions. The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi for every section except the English Language section.
The normalization Process is followed for the calculation of marks in Tier 1. The Exam Pattern of SSC CHSL Tier 1 is tabulated below.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2022
SSC CHSL Tier 2 requires the candidates to answer two descriptive-type questions. One has to write an essay of 200 to 250 words and an application or letter of 150 to 200 words. The exam pattern of the question paper of SSC CHSL Tier 2 is following.

Tier 3 Pattern
SSC CHSL Tier 3 (Typing Test)
SSC CHSL Tier 3 will test your practical skills like typing speed. For the post of Data Entry Operator, one needs to have a minimum typing speed of 8000 depression cases per hour.
For highly skilled Data Entry Operators, who are often required by the Comptroller and Auditor General, the typing speed should be 15000 per hour.
The minimum typing speed for Sorting Assistant or Postal Assistant should be 35 words per minute for English and 30 words per minute for Hindi.
