TNTET is the Tamilnadu Teachers Eligibility Test which is conducted once a year by the Teacher’s recruitment board (TRC) of Tamilnadu. TNTET is a state-level examination for the recruitment of teachers in different government schools as well as in private schools of Tamilnadu.
This examination is conducted to check the eligibility of a candidate to become a teacher in primary and secondary classes. The TNTET exam is conducted in offline mode and candidates are required to answer 150 multiple-choice questions.
TNTET 2022 online applications are ongoing. The last date to apply is April 26, 2022 (extended). Solve TNTET previous years paper here.

The application fees for the TNTET 2022 are Rs. 500/- for general category candidates and Rs 250/- for reserved (SC, ST, PWD) category candidates. The application fees can be paid through E-challan or online.
The TNTET Exam consists of two papers, paper one is for candidates appearing for Primary Level teaching positions and Paper two is for students appearing for Middle-level teaching positions. All the questions asked will be based on the syllabus prescribed by the exam conducting body.
