The full form of the UPSSSC PET Exam is the “Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission Preliminary Eligibility Test”. It is an offline examination that is conducted annually by the board for the recruitment of group 'c' posts in various departments.

Registration
Along with the release of the notification, the UPSSSC Online Form link for applying online for the UP PET exam 2022 will be opened. All application and registration processes must be completed entirely online. Steps to Fill UPSSSC PET Online Form are as follows:
Step 1: First, go to the UPSSSC's official website.
Step 2: Fill out the Candidate Registration form.
Step 3: For the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2022, click "Apply."
Step 4: If you're a first-time user, finish your registration. Read the whole declaration and accept it.
Step 5: To finish your registration, enter your personal information, qualifications, and other related details.
Step 6: Go to the online application and fill out all of the relevant information. The signature must be (.jpe/jpeg/jpg, 5kb to 30kb) and the photograph format must be (.jpe/jpeg/jpg, 5kb to 30kb).
Step 7: Complete your application by submitting the remaining information and paying the charge, if applicable.
Step 8: Save the application form on your computer for future use.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are recommended to read the eligibility criteria thoroughly before filling out the UPSSSC PET Exam application form. Eligible candidates will be required to show a set of legitimate documents as proof of eligibility.
UPSSSC PET Educational Qualification 2022
- The candidate must have passed at least a high school education.
UPSSSC PET Age Limit 2022
The UPSSSC department has issued thorough information on the age limits that must be fulfilled to meet the UPSSSC PET eligibility. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old. The maximum age for applying is 40 years old. However, age relaxations are also provided t the reserved categories which are mentioned in the table below:

UPSSSC PET Nationality 2022
Candidates must be Indian citizens to apply. Although it isn't specified explicitly, the candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

Exam Pattern
According to the most recent UPSSSC PET notification, the exam pattern is as follows.
- There will be objective-type multiple-choice questions on the exam.
- There will be a total of 100 questions.
- The examination will last two hours.
- Wrong answers will result in a negative marking of 1/4th mark.
- The difficulty of questions for topics from sr. no. 1 to 9 shall be as per NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.
