Our college has an excellent infrastructure, 3 elevators and 3 staircases. Cameras are installed in every room, and Wi-Fi is available. The library is huge with excellent books. The laboratories and machine rooms are well built and maintained. Washrooms are cleaned thrice in a day, and floors are cleaned every day. There is a good first-aid facility. The food available in the canteen is fresh and affordable
Wi-Fi is available on the whole campus. Labs are modern and well-equipped, and classrooms are decent. The library is also available for each stream. The canteen facility is available for us, and we have games equipment. Everything is available, and we also have a big ground to play. Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They are always available to support and motivate.
Hostel and canteen are good with meals at a good price, and the canteen is clean and tidy. The hostel has good rooms with good spaces. There are plenty of dhabas outside the campus which serves delicious fast food, and there is also KFC and Domino's nearby if people wanted to go. Faculty members are available and very helpful. HODs are very friendly and help students in every manner.

JIS Group Educational Initiatives – the largest educational conglomerate of Eastern India with 37 Institutions, 170 programmes and 39,000 students began its journey 24 years back. The journey, though not easy, has been quite a successful one. JIS University was established through the Legislative Act of the Government of West Bengal, viz. JIS University Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act XXII of 2014) that came into force in February, 2015.
