Mathematics is a field of study which includes gaining knowledge of certain topics such as- Quantity, Structure, Space and Change. Basically, Math is the known source of gain knowledge/ information regarding shapes, numbers and patterns. Mathematics? Studying math’s on regular basis strengthens brain muscles and sharpen our minds. It also develops analytical skills, build the brain capacity.

There are two fields in Math’s-

  1. Pure Mathematics
  2. Applied Mathematics

Why is Math’s Important?

Math’s is one of the most important subjects which we have been studying since we started our education. Math is used in our daily life, without math’s we wouldn’t be able to do the simplest things like- Make food cause without basic measurements its difficult, we wouldn’t be able to keep track of our spending, in short budgeting, we wouldn’t be able to understand time. It is quite fun and equally informative. Math is an exercise which stimulates your mind and helps the brain to work effectively and efficiently, as well as, this also enriches your problem-solving skills, helps you to find logical and factual answers, promotes systematic thinking, builds confidence and critical thinking. Studying math’s on regular basis strengthens brain muscles and sharpen our minds. It also develops analytical skills, build the brain capacity

It also motivates advancement in technology, which is one of the most popular and the most explored field in both scientific and logical departments.

How to pursue math’s further as a career?

As you’re an undergraduate student you can further study Math’s through any streams because math is important and provided in any streams. But if you want to study to get a degree in Math’s then you have to opt for-

B.A. Mathematics or (Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics) Or B.SC. Honours in mathematics.

B.A in Mathematics is a 3-year undergraduate course and students who have passed their 10th and 12th education from either commerce stream or Science stream are eligible to apply for this degree and the other category students like ST/SC need minimum 45% to apply for this degree.

Students who are interested in this degree should definitely proceed and apply, but students should have certain skills like- Great with calculation, logical think, and quick problem-solving skills, as they are more likely to be able finish this degree with ease. You also go for a Masters degree and then for Ph. D, if you are interested in studying further.
