The placement record of SRM UNIVERSITY was not that descent. In the batch of 2013-15 around 50% of the candidates got placed. Companies like Citi union bank, Genpact, Tcs, etc. Visited the campus for recruitment. Average salary offered was 3lakhs. As compared to the fees charged by the college it was not that great as compared to other colleges in that segment.
The infrastructure of our college is nice, and our college is well equipped with essentials. There is Wi-Fi all around the college, and it has labs for practicals. The library is well-equipped with books, and classrooms are big and tidy. The hostel is also nice and tidy, and the quality of the food served in the mess is nice. Medical facilities are available in both college and hostel.
Faculty were good and had good qualifications. Many of them were Ph.D. from various universities and some were still pursuing it. The student-teacher ratio was 30:1. The Teaching methods were through the continuous evaluation system. Faculty members used to provide us with the materials throughout the course and included the presentation as well as tests.
Teachers are good, helpful, interactive and are easy to communicate to. The quality of education is good. Yes, I feel the course to be quite relevant but definitely not industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult but you will be able to figure it out.Their behavior is such like a friend. They are too helpful for regarding every student. They suggest a right path in future to every student.
