Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), formerly Meerut University, is a public state university located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. The university was established in 1965. It was later renamed to its current name after Chaudhary Charan Singh, former Prime minister of India. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in a variety of disciplines, including science, engineering, technology, arts, commerce, and humanities. It also has a number of professional colleges, such as the College of Engineering, the College of Technology, and the College of Management Studies.
CCSU is a UGC-approved university and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
