The Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi was established in 1973. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious business schools in India. News

As per Delhi University, the special Teachers Day event will include speeches and deliberations on several topics relating to education and the role of teachers in nation-building. A book will be released to mark the occasion.

The program coordinator, Professor Niranjan Kumar, Chairman of the Value Addition Courses Committee and Dean (Planning), DU, stated that this is the first event that the university will host after a decade.
