About
Institute of Professional Studies And Research (IPSAR) – started as an endeavor in 1988 by Late Dr. R.N. Misra – a visionary educationist of Orissa in the field of Management and Cost Accountancy. The institute was formed as a Society under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and continues to be governed as a society. Late Ranganath Mishra, Former Chief Justice of India became the patron of the institute and helped the Institute in getting the first approval from The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under the chairmanship of Prof H.K. Khanna. Eminent personalities like Mr B.B.Rath Senior Advocate, Orissa High Court, Mr L.N.More senior Chartered Accountant joined as co-opted members while Mr J.K.Misra, Chartered Accountant became a full time member.

Scholarships

Merit Scholarships:These scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of their academic performance in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent). The scholarships are available for all courses offered by the institute.

Percentage Scholarship:Students who secure 90% and above in the qualifying examination are eligible for a 100% tuition fee waiver.

Rank Scholarship:Students who rank among the top 100 in the CET are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver.

Merit cum Means Scholarship:These scholarships are awarded to students who have good academic performance but come from a financially weaker background. The scholarships are available for all courses offered by the institute.

Family Income Scholarship:Students whose family income is less than INR 2.5 lakhs per annum are eligible for a 25% tuition fee waiver.

Caste Scholarship: Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories are eligible for a 25% tuition fee waiver

DSPSR Scholarship:This scholarship is awarded to students who secure a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. The scholarship covers the tuition fee and hostel fee.

UGC Scholarship:This scholarship is awarded to students who are eligible for the UGC Merit-cum-Means Scholarship. The scholarship covers the tuition fee and hostel fee.

NSS Scholarship:This scholarship is awarded to students who are actively involved in the NSS activities. The scholarship covers the tuition fee.
