University of Engineering and Management (UEM) Kolkata was established in the year 2014 The Institute is awarded Life Time Institutional Membership of Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). It is approved by UGC, AICTE and IEM is accredited with ‘Grade A’ by NAAC. UEM is promoted by the Institute of Engineering and Management Trust (IEM). It offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in Engineering, Management, and Science. Admission to UEM Kolkata is done on the basis of valid marks secured in national or state entrance tests. In the year 2017-2021, more than 607 students got placed with the highest package of INR 72 LPA by IEMA Research & Development Pvt. Ltd. and the average package of INR 4.5 LPA. Wipro has selected 60 BCA graduates from IEM GROUP (34 IEM, 26 UEM). IEM-UEM IIPC (Industry Institute Partnership Cell) has signed an MOU with Ericsson, a top Swedish multinational company, for partnership in product research and development in the highly secured R&D labs on the latest cutting edge products like 5G technologies, Drones and UAVs, Autonomous Vehicles, Robots, Industry 4.0, Automation and various IOT based technologies.
