Bihar Police Department or Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) is a law-forming body in the state of Bihar. The Bihar Police Service (BPS) is made by the Constitution of India to select the right applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Bihar according to the merits of the candidates. It was designed on the 1st April 1949 after its detachment from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh.It is a Constitutional law-making Body under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It works under the department of control of the Dept of Home Affairs (DHA), under the Government of Bihar, and is mentored by the Director-General of Police. The Bihar Police Service initially began its functioning for the State of Bihar with its headquarters at Ranchi.

Latest Notification

Bihar Police SI exam date 2022 for PET (Advt. No. 02/2019 & 02/2020) and Mains Exams (Advt. No. 03/2020) has been released on the website –  https://www.csbc.bih.nic.in/. Candidates can check the exam dates by visiting the website and downloading the exam date notice. The admit card will soon be released for all registered candidates in PDF format.

Registration

Bihar Public Service Commission will release the Bihar police Services 2022 Application form in August and close in September (approximately). It will be released on the official website of the BPSC. The application form for the Preliminary and Main phases will be released separately.

A candidate who clears the preliminary exam can only apply for the main exams form. Remember to fill the optional subject for the main phase, when you are filling the preliminary form. Candidates need to register in August because only registered candidates will be allowed to complete the application process.

Steps to Apply for Bihar Police 2022

Steps to fill the Bihar police service Recruitment 2022 Application Form:

  • Visit the official website (BPSC) (http://bpsc.bih.nic.in).
  • Click on the ‘ONLINE REGISTRATION’ bar
  • Then click on the ‘Apply Online’ button. Fill in the required detail carefully.
  • Now click the ‘submit button of the application form.
  • After the registration, there will be a link for fee payment the next day(11 am).
  • Click on ‘Online Payment’.
  • For General/OBC fee will be Rs.600/.
  • For SC/ST/PH and women the fee will be Rs.150/.
  • The very next day any time after 11 am the application form will be activated.
  • Fill the personal details with education.
  • Upload your recent photograph and signature.
  • Submit the Bihar police Services 2022 Application Form.
  • You must take out the printout and save the form and Check your registration number, the bar code, and the application number that is mentioned in the printout of the form.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be graduated in any of the disciplines from the recognized college or university. The minimum age limit for the Bihar police Service is 21. Candidates from the general category can apply if their age is up to 37 and those who belong to the OBC category must be of age 40.

Candidates must be a Citizen of India. Candidates must have completed the graduation degree in any major from any recognized institute or university.

Bihar Police Age limit:

  • Police Sub Inspector:- The minimum age limit will be 20 years and the maximum age limit will be 37 years.
  • Probation Officer, Labor Enforcement Officer, Rural Development Officer, Supply Inspector, Block SC & ST Welfare Officer:– the minimum age limit will be 21 years and the maximum age limit will be 37 years for the general category.
  • For all other posts:- the minimum age limit will be 22 years and the maximum age limit will be 37 years
