The full form of BIS is Bureau of Indian Standards. BIS Recruitment Exam is a national standards body of India working under the support of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) conducts a competitive entrance test each year to hire eligible candidates for a total of 10 posts that come under Group A, B, and C.
The main aim of the Bureau of Indian Standards is to benefit the country's economy by providing safe, dependable and quality goods, minimizing health hazards to customers, protecting the environment, promoting exports and imports substitute, controlling over the proliferation of varieties etc. The Bureau of Indian Standards exam is the initial port of entry into the services of BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).
The Bureau of Indian Standards will appoint qualified candidates for Group A, B, C Posts. The notification was released on April 16, 2022 and candidates can apply till May 09, 2022.
The applicants aspiring for the posts can apply for the BIS Exam online mode. The application process for the test is online mode. The applicants have to fill up the application forms available on the official website. The steps to apply for the BIS exam are provided below.
Step 1: Go through the official authority website i.e. bis.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the “Register” button appearing on the home page
Step 3: Fill in the necessary details like your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Contact No. and Email-id, etc.
Step 4: After entering all the required details, preview them at first and then submit the form.
Step 5: After the completion of the registration form, applicants will get an automated generated credential details on their registered mail id.
Step 6: Now note this credential for further references.
Step 7: By using the credentials, applicants have to log in first.
Step 8: Now after log in, fill up the asked details correctly in the application form.
Step 9: Now you have to upload a recent and clear passport size photograph, handwritten signature, necessary documents as per the requirement.
Step 10: After uploading all the required documents in the prescribed format, applicants have to pay the required application fee.
Step 11: After submitting the application fee you have to submit the application form.
Step 12: Download and take a printout of the acknowledgement slip and payment receipt for future reference.
