Eligibility Criteria

CSIR IMMT Junior Secretariat Assistant Age Limit

The candidates should not be more than 28 years of age.
The age relaxation for ST/ SC candidates is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years.
PwD candidates get an age relaxation of 10 - 15 years (mainly 15 years for ST/SC, 13 years for OBC, and 10 years for general).
The windowed and divorced women also get an age relaxation of 35 - 40 years (mainly ST/SC for 40 years, OBC for 38 years, and General for 35 years).

Application Fee

The application fee charged by the applicants is Rs. 100.
SC/ST/PWD/Women/other Gender Category/Ex-Servicemen/CSIR Employees as well as Identified Casual Workers in CSIR are not charged any fees.

Exam Pattern

The CSIR IMMT exam for Junior Secretariat Assistant is either a written OMB-based test or a computer-based test.
It is conducted in two phases: Paper-I and Paper-II.
Paper-II will be evaluated only for those candidates who have secured the minimum threshold marks in Paper-I.
Paper-I will consist of 100 questions for 200 marks, that need to be solved in 90 minutes. This paper does not have any negative marking for wrong answers.
Paper-II will consist of 100 questions for 300 marks and the time provided will be 60 minutes. There will be negative markings in this paper.
Both the paper will be in Hindi and English language.
