DSSSB stands for Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board. Every year, it holds state-level recruitment exams in the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi). Assistant Teacher (Primary & Nursery) positions are advertised by the DSSSB.

Assistant Teacher positions are available in both primary and nursery schools. If candidates are interested, they can apply online. Candidates will be chosen based on a single-tiered examination.

Registration

Candidates will be able to apply for jobs via the internet. The instructions below can be followed.

Candidates must first register on the DSSSB's official website.
Proceed to the application form after completing the registration process.
Fill in all of the information on the application form, making sure there are no spelling errors.
All scanned copies of the required documents should be uploaded.
After you've submitted your information, go to the SBI e-pay system to pay your fees.
The completed form can then be saved for future use.

Eligibility Criteria

In terms of educational criteria, age restriction, and nationality, the DSSSB has set the eligibility conditions for the DSSSB Assistant Teacher recruitment 2022.

Nationality

Citizens of India are the only ones who are eligible to apply.

Criteria for Education

Posts	Academic Qualification
Nursery Assistant Teacher	Intermediate or Senior Secondary School (Class 12th) certificate with 45 percent marks. A two-year diploma/certificate program in nursery teacher education or a B.Ed. (Nursery) from an accredited institution is required. A secondary school diploma in Hindi is required.
Nursery Assistant Teacher - Directorate of Education	The candidate must have passed the CTET test as well as Urdu, English, Hindi, or Punjabi as a secondary school subject. In addition, the candidate must have fulfilled the following tasks: NCTE requires a Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% and a 2-year diploma in elementary education OR A Senior Secondary with a minimum of 45 percent and a 2-year diploma in primary education. OR Senior Secondary with a minimum of 50% and a 4-year B.El.Ed. OR Senior secondary school diploma with a minimum of 50% and a 2-year education diploma (Special Education) OR Completion of a two-year education diploma
Primary Assistant Teacher - New Delhi Municipal Council	Passing the 12th grade with a 50% grade (50% for SC/ST) is required. 2 year primary education diploma/certificate programme in JBT/ ETE/ B.El.Ed/ DIET. Hindi must have been a topic in tenth grade. The CTET must have been passed by the candidate.

Age Restriction

The maximum age limit will be 30 years old. The following categories are exempt from the higher age restriction relaxations.

Departmental candidates with at least 3 years of service in the Delhi government's NCT/autonomous organizations are encouraged to apply.	Group B: up to 5 years; Group C: up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST; 43 years for OBC).
Sportsperson of Distinction (Only Group C posts)	5 Years (10 Years for SC/ST, 8 years for OBC).
Groups B and C Non-Gazetted Ex-Servicemen	3 years plus the length of military service
Personnel from the Armed Forces who are disabled	45 years (SC/ST: 50 years, OBC: 48 years).
Widows, divorced women, and women who have been legally separated but have not remarried	Up to 35 years (for SC/ST, 40 years, and OBC, 38 years).

Application Fee

Candidates must pay the cost while submitting their online application. SBI e-pay is the preferred method of payment.

There will be 200 questions with a total score of 200.
For each incorrect response, a 0.25 point deduction will be applied.
It will take two hours to complete the paper.
The question paper will be written in English and Hindi (except language sections).
