The full form of HPTET is Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. The HPTET conducted by HPBoSE is a state-level exam to determine the eligibility of candidates as the teacher in primary and upper primary levels.
The candidates that pass the examination, are considered for posts like, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in Arts/ Trained Graduate Teacher in Medical/ Trained Graduate Teacher in Non-Medical/ Language Teacher/ Punjabi Language Teacher/ Urdu Language Teacher/ Shastri Teacher/ and JBT.
The notification for HP TET 2022 will be released soon. Himachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test 2022 is generally known as HP TET. The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) is a state-level test that is held to hire primary and upper elementary school teachers. The exam is primarily used to determine candidates' eligibility for teaching positions at Haryana's various government institutions.
The Himachal Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education (HPBSE) administers the HPTET once a year. HP TET 2022 may be divided into two portions for two distinct types of candidates: those applying for teaching positions in grades one through five, and those applying for teaching positions for classes six to eight.
The candidates will be able to fill the application form for the HPTET examination 2022 in online mode only. The starting of filling up application forms is expected to begin from August 2022.
After a certain date is fixed by the authority, candidates will be able to register for HPTET by paying a late fee of ₹300. After the last date of registration with the late fee is over, no applications will be accepted by the authority.
The steps to apply for the HPTET exam are provided below:
Step 1: Candidates will have to visit the official website for HPTET and click on the 'New Candidate Registration.
Step 2: Then the candidates will be asked to fill some general informations like, Name of the Candidate/ Date of Birth/ Caste/ Sex/ Nationality/ Post appearing for/ Email Id/ Contact Number/ Address etc. The candidates will be asked to give Examination Center Preference too.
Step 3: After giving the general information, the candidates would have to upload scanned images of their recent photograph and signature.
Step 4: A new window for application fee payment will open. The candidates would be able to pay the requested fee through Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card.
Step 5: After paying the application fee, the candidates will be asked to accept all the declarations and submit the form.
Step 6: The filled application form and a confirmation page will be generated after submitting the form. Candidates will be able to download their filled application form and confirmation page. For future reference, the candidates should obtain a printout of the filled application form and confirmation page.

HPTET Exam 2022 will be conducted in offline mode. 150 objective type questions will be there in the paper. For each correct answer, the candidates will be awarded a +1 mark and there won't be any negative marking for wrong answers.
