The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) conducts the examinations for filling approximately 1300 posts of Canal Patwari in 2022.

Latest Notification

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has issued a public notice announcing the cancellation of the exam for the post of HSSC Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv. Earlier the exam was going to be held on January 07, 08, and 09, 2022. The admit card for the exam has also been released but the exam has now been cancelled suddenly. As of now, no reason for the cancellation of the HSSC exam has been given. According to several reports, the recruitment for the HSSC Patwari, Gram Sachiv, and Canal Patwari might take place through the Haryana CET 2022. If this happens the exam date for the exam will be announced by the State Commission.

Download the notification pdf and read through it carefully, making sure the eligibility criteria are met.
Click on the online application form.
Fill in your details and finish the application.
Upload the required scanned documents.
Recheck the completed application form and apply.
Make the fee payment.
After the application fee is paid, a pdf of the completed application will be generated. Candidates are advised to take a printout and keep it with them.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria – Nationality and Residence:

The aspiring candidate should be an Indian citizen or a permanent resident of the state of Haryana.

Eligibility Criteria - Age

The aspiring candidate should be between 18 and 42 years of age.

Age Relaxation

Although the minimum age of eligibility is 18 and the maximum age of eligibility is 42, there are age relaxation policies involved in the eligibility criteria as can be seen in the following table.

Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualifications

The aspiring candidate should be a graduate or should have passed an equivalent exam from a recognized institute/university.
The candidate should have chosen Hindi/Sanskrit as a subject in matriculation or higher education.
