The Board of Secondary Education Haryana BSEH is a state-owned examination conducting authority of Haryana, which conducts various public examinations within the state. This organization works on conducting the middle, matriculation, posts the and senior secondary level examination annually in Haryana. The level of the HTET examination varies depending upon the posts candidates are applying for. The conducting body has also specified the HTET syllabus on various disciplines.
Latest Notification
HTET notification for the various government TGT or PGT posts will be issued between April to September 2022. The HTET application form will commence from November 2022, and the last date to submit the HTET application form for 2022 was extended till December.
The HTET notification 2022 will be issued by the Board of Secondary Education – Haryana (BSEH) on the official website in PDF format. Any latest changes in the exam along with eligibility, exam pattern as well as salary will be notified along with the HTET notification PDF.
Registration
The candidates aspiring for the HTET posts can apply for the exam through an online process. Interested students can apply through the BSEH official website. The steps to apply for the HTET exam 2022 are provided below.
- Step 1: Click here or visit the board official website www.bseh.org.in
- Step 2: Click on the official notification for the HTET 2022 application form
- Step 3: Click on the apply link, fill up the required information to complete the registration
- Step 4: Post completing the registration credentials will be sent to your email id
- Step 5: log in to the form using your credentials
- Step6: Fill the HTET application form and proceed with all the mandatory documents.
- Step 7: Submit the scanned documents and upload them to the application page.
- Step 8: Complete the payment process by submitting the required application fees via any available payment options.
- Step 9: After payment, save a soft copy of the application form along with the payment receipt for further use.

Eligibility Criteria
It is important to check the eligibility before applying for the HTET Exam. Here, we have provided complete details about the HTET eligibility criteria. The applicants must have the prescribed educational qualifications and must fulfil the age criteria to apply for the HTET exam.
HTET Eligibility: Age Limits
The candidate applying for the HTET Exam 2022 must fulfil the age criteria as per the official notification. The age limit criteria have been provided below.
- The applicants applying for HTET TGT or PGT Teaching Faculty posts must have attained the minimum age of 18 years.
- The maximum age to apply for the HTET exam should not be above 38 years.
HTET Educational Qualification for Primary Teacher (Level 1)
Candidates who are going to appear in the Level 1 examination for Primary Teacher must have to meet the following criteria
- Candidates should have completed their senior secondary examination with at least 50% from a recognized board and must have passed in 2 years of Diploma of Elementary Education.
- Candidates who have passed in the 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) are also eligible for the examination.
- Those candidates who are in the final year of D.El.Ed or B.Ed can also apply for the exam.
HTET Educational Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (Level 2)
Candidates must have to meet any one of the following eligibility criteria to apply for the HTET Level 2 exam:
- Interested candidates must have completed undergraduate in a relevant stream and have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Passed undergraduate in a relevant stream with a minimum of 50% marks and have completed or pursued 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Graduate in an appropriate stream with at least 45% and have completed or pursuing 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
- Passed in the senior secondary examination or any equivalent along with at least 50% marks and have completed or pursued the final semester of the 4- year B.El.Ed.
- Candidates must have passed in senior secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and have completed or appeared in the last year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Completed graduation in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or appeared in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
HTET Educational Qualification for Post Graduate Teacher (Level 3)
Candidates must have to meet any one of the following eligibility criteria to apply for the HTET Level 3 exam:
- Candidates must have completed their post graduation on a relevant subject with 50% or above marks.
- Have a Bachelor of Education degree.
- Completed their Matrics with Hindi & Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary/ Graduation/ Post Graduation in Hindi with a good academic record
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the required application fees to complete their HTET application process. The HTET 2022 Application Fees for different levels of examination as well as the categories are provided below.

Exam Pattern
The HTET examination is conducted on three different levels i.e Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 for different posts. Candidates who qualify in the examination will be called for the document verification round. Below we have given about the process of the exam.
The HTET exam is conducted on the pen-paper method and it will be based on multiple objective type questions. The total duration of the exam is two hours thirty minutes and the paper is available in both English and Hindi language. For each correct answer, one mark is awarded and no marks are deducted for incorrect answers.
