IBPS PO Exam is conducted for recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees (PO/MT). The full form of IBPS PO is Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will announce the IBPS PO calendar 2022 in the official notification.
Registration
The official link to apply for the IBPS PO 2022 will be activated post the release of the official notification. All the details regarding the application process and the deadline for the same will be given on the official website of IBPS. Given below are the steps to apply for the IBPS PO 2022 examination. The registration followed by the IBPS PO application process will be initiated online.
- Visit the official website of IBPS at www.ibps.in.
- Click on the tab saying IBPS PO Recruitment 2022 notification, the IBPS PO Recruitment 2022 Application Form will open.
- Fill in all the required details accurately as per your certificates and documents and also double-check the same before submitting.
- Upload scanned photograph and signature.
- Post submitting the application form, click on the link to the new registration after clicking on the link of the recruitment.
- Your registration number and password will be generated.
- After registration and filling out the application form, submit the application fee pertaining to your category through the online fee payment procedure.
- Print the application form for future purposes.

Eligibility Criteria
Given below are the eligibility guidelines as per the IBPS.
IBPS PO Nationality
The candidate must be any of the following to be considered eligible for the IBPS PO 2022 Examination-
- Citizen of India;
- The subject of Nepal;
- The subject of Bhutan;
- Tibetan Refugee who came over to India prior to the 1st of January, 1962 with the intention of residing here permanently;
- A person who is a native Indian or of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African Countries i.e. (Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania) and/or Vietnam and Zaire with the intention of residing in India permanently. In addition to this, he/she shall also receive the certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
IBPS PO Age Limit
- Minimum age limit- 20 years
- Maximum age limit- Not more than 30 years as of 1/8/2022.
IBPS PO Age Relaxation
Age relaxation is offered to certain categories and the same has been mentioned below in the tabular form.

IBPS PO Educational Qualification
All the candidates interested in IBPS PO must have one of the two educational qualifications
- The candidate must possess a graduation degree in any field/discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India as of 26/8/2022.
- Any equivalent qualification of the above-mentioned is recognized by the Central Government.

TheIBPS PO 2022 Exam Pattern consists of three stages that the candidate needs to clear being- Prelims, Main, and the interview round.
IBPS PO 2022 Prelims Exam Pattern
The candidates will have to qualify for the prelims by securing the minimum cut-off marks as set by the IBPS. Given below is the exam pattern for IBPS PO 2022 Exam for Prelims.

Descriptive Test Pattern
The descriptive test includes 2 sections, the same will carry a total of 25 marks with a time limit of 30 minutes to attempt.
- Letter Writing- The candidates can be asked to write a formal, semi-formal, or informal, letter based on general topics, banking awareness, and current affairs.
- Essay Writing- An essay is a long article on any topic. The topics may range from descriptive, current affairs, contemporary issues, narrative, argumentative, etc.
