IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam is conducted by National Testing Agency, in two sessions for a candidate's admission into the 2-year B.Ed program at various PSCs (Program Study Center) of IGNOU across India.
Latest Notification
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released IGNOU B.Ed Entrance 2022 Admit Card. Registered candidates can download their IGNOU B.Ed Admit Card 2022 from ignou.ac.in. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the control number or mobile number and date of birth. IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022 will be conducted on May 8, 2022. The exam will be conducted as a computer-based test in both English and Hindi.
- IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam Question Papers will be divided into 2 sections - A and B.
- General English Comprehension, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, Educational & General Awareness, and Teaching-Learning are some sections under IGNOU B.Ed. 2022 Syllabus.
- During the application process, applicants can select up to 4 IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam Test Centers from a total of 135 centers across India.
- Based on the scores obtained in the IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022 candidates will be offered admission into the B.Ed programs available at IGNOU.

- On the website, candidates must click on the “IGNOU B.Ed Application Form link”.
- Candidates must register on the website and note down the system generated application number.
- Candidates must fill in the Online IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam Application Form 2022.
- Candidates must upload the required documents in their prescribed format.
- Candidates must also upload scanned signatures in the provided space.
- After submitting the application and pay fees through Credit card/Debit card or Net banking methods on the website.
- After a payment confirmation page will appear, candidates must download the same for future reference.

Subject Awareness Important Topics
In IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022, the subject awareness section will consist of 20 questions.
Candidates are expected to choose and answer the section on the basis of their educational background in XII standard.
Eligibility Criteria
IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility Criteria must be satisfied for candidates to apply for the exam. Aspirants can check the eligibility criteria for IGNOU B.Ed entrance admission in detail below:
- At least 50% percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent
- Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
OR
Candidates who have completed an NCTE-recognized teacher education program in direct mode.
- The relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks required will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwD candidates as per the norms of the Government of India.
- Reservation for Kashmiri Migrants and War Widow candidates will be provided as per the University Rules.
- A Master's Degree awarded without a first degree is not accepted for the purpose of Academic Studies in IGNOU.

Exam Pattern
IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test 2022 will be an online-based exam, where candidates will be asked in multiple-choice questions format. The duration for IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2022 will be of 2 hours, in which applicants are required to complete the exam.
- Candidates will be provided 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no provision of negative marking in the exam.
