The aspirants who have a diploma in different categories such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunication are eligible to apply for the Yantrik post in the Indian Coast Guard. Only male aspirants can apply for this post and for that they need to get shortlisted in the ICG competitive exam. The aspirants need to clear all the four stages such as a written exam, physical fitness test, and medical and document verification.
Latest Notification
The ICG Yantrik exam is conducted by the Indian Coast Guard for the recruitment of Navid (GD), Navik (DB), and Yantrik(Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics) posts for those aspirants who want to join the Indian Coast Guard and have an IT diploma and ready to get shortlisted in ICG competitive written exam. The official notification of the ICG Yantrik recruitment is released on December 15, 2021 for 322 or more vacancies.
Registration
An aspirant needs to fill up the application form with all the required information and follow all the steps regulated by the related authority. The following given steps will be helpful for you to complete all the ICG Yantrik recruitment application form guidelines:
- Visit the ICG official website.
- Look on the apply online link and click on that.
- Open the application form where you fill in all the required information about yourself.
- Register your mobile number and Email id.
- Upload your scanned photo and signature.
- Check all the details you filled in are correct then move to next.
- Pay the application fee as per your category and upload the scanned challan on it, or make online payment also.
- After payment save the receipt for future reference.
- Now click on Submit button and save and print out the application form for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants must be sure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for ICG Yantrik recruitment 2022. Here we can divide eligibility criteria into two sections:

Edu Qualification
ICG Yantrik Recruitment Educational Qualification
- Aspirants must have a 10th pass certificate from a recognised education board.
- Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication engineering approved by the All India Council of Technical Education with 60% in aggregate recognised by AICTE.
- SC/ST candidates will get a 5% relaxation in the minimum cutoff.
- Any aspirants who have outstanding records in sports at the national level will also get a 5% relaxation in the minimum cut-off.
ICG Yantrik Age Criteria:
Male candidates between 18- 23 years are eligible to apply for the posts. SC/ST/ candidates will get 5 years in age relaxation benefits and OBC Candidate can get 3 years in age relaxation benefits.

Exam Pattern
As above mentioned the ICG Yantrik recruitment process is followed by four stages where first is a written offline test. In this test, the question paper has five sections and all are based on MCQs pattern. There is no negative marking in this exam. The aspirants who clear this stage are eligible to appear for the 2nd stage where he gives his physical fitness test and it is qualifying in nature.
After qualifying both stages merit candidates are invited for the medical examination. The candidates who clear stage 3 are eligible to get training at INS Chilka and ask to present their original documents for verification.
