Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) conducts the KPSC Staff Nurse Recruitment exam every year to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts of Staff Nurses. The KPSC Staff Nurse exam is divided into 2 stages. The final selections of candidates are based on the Document Verification.
The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) will soon release the notification for the recruitment of KPSC Staff Nurse. The details for the total available vacancies for the year 2022 will soon be available on the official website @kpsc.kar.nic.in.
The KPSC Staff Nurse Notification 2022 is expected to be released in the month of April 2022. The notification for KPSC Staff Nurse Exam will be including; exam dates, syllabus, exam pattern, & guidelines.
The candidates applying for the KPSC exam for Staff Nurse should be eligible as per the eligibility criteria. The candidates must fill the application form in online mode on the official website of KPSC. The following steps should be followed;
Step 1: Visit the Official Website of the KPSC Organization i.e., @ kpsc.kar.nic.in.
Step 2: Then, registration should be done, click on the “new registration” tab,
Step 3: All Required Details such as Name, DOB, Mobile, Address, etc. of the candidates should fill correctly, and submit registration successfully.
Step 4: A system generated registration ID & password will be allotted to the candidates.
Step 5: Login through the ID & password, & fill in the required details such as; educational qualification etc. and Click Save.
Step 6: Click “next” & upload the scanned copy of documents required like photos, signatures etc.
Step 7: Now, pay the online form fees as per post; for the KPSC Staff Nurse exam.
Step 8: Lastly, click On the Final Submission and Take a Print Out of the PDF, application is successful.

KPSC will soon release the syllabus for the Exam for Staff Nurse on its official website. The candidates appearing for the exam should know about the syllabus, as it aids in the preparation for the examination.

Candidates applying for the KPSC Staff Nurse Exam should be eligible as per the criteria set by KPSC for the year 2022. The criteria are mentioned below-
Citizenship - Aspiring candidate must be a citizen of India, it means he/she should hold the citizenship of India,
Domicile - Candidates having domicile of Karnataka. Only the candidates from Karnataka state can apply for the post under KPSC,
Experience - Candidates should have experience in the nursing background.
Educational Qualifications - Candidates are required to hold a 3 Year/ 4 Year Graduation Degree in B.SC./Diploma in the Karnataka nursing council.
The candidates must be above 18 years of age. The upper age limit is different for each category which is given in the following table:

The KPSC Staff Nurse exam pattern is set by KPSC. All the details will be available on the official website of KPSC. Candidates must check the details on the official website. The KPSC Staff Nurse written exam consists of 300 MCQs.
There will be three sets of papers. Each paper comprises 100 questions. The medium of the question paper would be in English and Kannada. The total duration of each paper is two hours, and the total marks are 200 for each paper. They conduct the exam offline through OMR answer sheets.
All the answers should be marked on that sheet only. Each question would have four options. The candidate has to choose from those. Every wrong answer would be penalized with a deduction of 1/4th of the mark which has been assigned for the question for the first set of the question paper. The second set of papers comprises 100 questions, and each correct answer carries two marks, and there are no negative marks in it.
The candidate has to check that the question paper version code which would be mentioned on the question paper is the same as the version code mentioned on the OMR sheet.
