MAH B.Ed CET Exam is a state-level entrance exam organized by Maharashtra CET Cell to grant admission into B.Ed Courses to govt and private institutes across Maharastra. As per MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Exam Pattern, it will be a one-hour long online test asking 100 MCQs of 1 mark each and the paper will be set in English and Marathi languages. Candidates will be asked questions in three sections, i.e. Mental Ability, Teacher Aptitude, and General Knowledge in MAH BEd CET. Candidates attempting MAH BEd CET ELCT will be asked questions related to the English language.
Latest Notification
Maharashtra CET Cell has revised the schedule. As per the revised schedule, MAH B.Ed CET 2022 will be conducted from August 21 to August 22, 2022, in online mode. The last date to fill out MAH B.Ed CET Application Form 2022 is extended till July 7, 2022. The Application Form can be filled out on the official website by paying the application fee of INR 800. MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Application Fee for the reserved category is INR 600. MAH B.Ed CET 2022 application forms have to fill with immense accuracy as there is no form correction facility available.
- Candidates who scored a minimum of 45% marks aggregate are eligible to fill out MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Application Forms.
- Successfully registered candidates will be able to download MAH BEd CET 2022 Admit Card from the official website using their login credentials from July 29, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria
MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Eligibility is set by conducting authority, Maharashtra State CET Cell. It is compulsory for all the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the exam. If they clear the eligibility criteria, applicants can apply for the application form. Given below is MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Eligibility for candidates of various states.
Maharashtra State Candidates
- Candidates should be a citizen of India.
- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree with subjects Sciences/ Mathematics/ Social Sciences (History/ Geography/ Economics/ Political Sciences/ Psychology/ Philosophy/ Education/ Library Science)/ Humanity Sciences (including all Languages and Literature like – English, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Pali-Prakrit, etc. studied as Optional/ Special Subject at Graduation)/ Commerce.
- Candidates who have passed their Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in the above subjects with the minimum of 50% marks for Open Category (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories from State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ-DT NT-(A), NT1-(B), 5 NT-2-(C), NT-3-(D), OBC, and SBC (44.50% and above to be considered as 45%) are eligible for the exam.
OR
- Candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects in Engineering or Technology/(Science and Mathematics as a special subject)/Bachelor’s Degree and or Master’s Degree with the subjects Management/Engineering/Computers/Law/Information-Technology/Agriculture/BBI/Medical Sciences/All Social Sciences/Fine Art/Performing Art (Music/Dance / Drama etc.).
- Candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (54.50% and above to be considered as 55%) either in Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree mentioned above (Minimum 50% marks in case of Backward Class Category candidates belonging to State of Maharashtra belonging to SC, ST, VJ-DT NT-(A), NT1-(B), NT-2-(C), NT-3-(D), OBC, and SBC. (49.50% and above to be considered as 50%).
OR
- The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree recognized as an equivalent degree by the Government of Maharashtra, in subjects mentioned above.
OR
- The candidate should have any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree awarded to him/ her by any Open University incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature.
OR
- The candidate appearing for the Final Year Examination of any Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible.
Other State Candidates
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- All the candidates including backward class candidates having Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree from Out of Maharashtra University will be considered as Open Category Candidates.
- Candidates must have passed in any Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree program with a minimum of 55% of marks for all categories.
- The candidate appearing for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree are eligible to apply as well.
Candidates’ Age Limit
There is no upper age limit to applying for MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Exam. Age is likely to be calculated as of July 1, 2022.
English Language Content Test
Candidates applying for MAH BEd ELCT CET 2022, are required to specifically select the English medium language criteria in the application form.
NRI Candidates
Candidates belongings to categories like Non-Resident Indian, Person of Indian Origin, Overseas Citizen of India and Foreign National Students, Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries must have scored a minimum marks aggregate in courses mentioned below:
- Candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree and/ or Master’s Degree with subjects Sciences/ Mathematics/ Social Sciences (History/ Geography/ Economics/ Political Sciences/ Psychology/ Philosophy/ Education/ Library Science)/ Humanity Sciences (including all Languages and Literature like – English, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, Pali-Prakrit, etc. studied as Optional/ Special Subject at Graduation)/ Commerce with 50% minimum marks aggregate

Counselling
MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling will begin by the 4th week of June, 2022. MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Merit List will be prepared by State CET Cell, Maharastra - the conducting body of the entrance examination.
- MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling is expected to be conducted in three rounds.
- Through MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling rounds, State CET Cell will allocate seats into colleges to the qualified candidates based on the merit list.
- Only applicants who have cleared MAH B.Ed CET 2022 will be eligible for the counselling process.
- Candidates who have qualified for the exam will be required to register for CAP Counselling online at the official website.
MAH B.Ed CET 2022 CAP Counselling will be done through a Single Window System (SWS) to allot seats to the qualified candidates into the various colleges under Govt. Control based on the options submitted online by them. The allotments will be strictly based on the candidates’ options, the rank obtained, and the eligible reservations of the candidate.
MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling: How to Apply?
- Candidates must first visit MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling BEd CAP official website – bed.hepravesh.in/Public/Home.aspx
- Candidates must enter their MAH BEd CET 2022 Exam details and validate them.
- Candidates must then enter the required details and log in to the candidates’ CAP portal.
- Candidates must then fill in the application form for CAP Counselling and enter their personal and academic details where required.
- Candidates must make sure that they upload the required documents according to the specifications prescribed.
- Candidates must then pay the counseling fees online at the payment gateway.
- After the fee payment, candidates can submit their MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling Application Form.
MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling: Application Fees

MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Counselling: Documents Required

- MAH B.Ed CET 2022 Admit Card
- Certificate of Class X or any other relevant school records as proof of the date of birth.
- Degree, Certificates, and Mark list of all parts of the qualifying exams in ORIGINAL.
- Original Certificates, the copies of which are enclosed with the application form.
- Transfer certificate and conduct/character certificate from the institution where the candidate studied last.
- Two passport-size photographs of the candidate.
- Candidates who passed the qualifying examination from Universities/Boards outside the Maharastra State shall produce an “Eligibility Certificate / Equivalency Certificate” from any of the Universities in Maharastra.
- The candidate belonging to SC, ST, VJ-DT NT-(A), NT1-(B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC, and SBC categories should produce a “Caste Certificate” issued by the Competent Authority, as per requirement
- The candidates belonging to ST Category should submit a “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by the Scrutiny Committee of the Tribal Development Department.
- The candidates belonging to VJDT NT(A), NT1(B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC, and SBC should submit a Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate as applicable.
