Candidates who obtain qualifying marks in Mizoram MPSC Prelims Paper-I as set by the board and a minimum of 33% marks in Prelims Paper-II shall be admitted to the Mains exam.
Mizoram MPSC Prelims is only qualifying in nature and hence, the marks in the Prelims exam shall not be added to determine the order of merit for the final selection of candidates.
The exam pattern of the Mizoram MPSC 2022 is as follows:

There will be a penalty (negative marking) for every wrong answer given by a candidate in the objective-type questions. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
Mizoram MPSC Mains exam shall comprise of a written examination and personal interview. The written examination will consist of six compulsory papers and one optional subject of two papers each and each paper will carry 100 marks.
