The Community Health Officer exam is conducted by the National Health Mission of Conducting State to recruit domicile candidates and the exam happens only once a year. The candidates who are aspiring for the job as a Community Health Officer should be little aware of their job responsibilities before applying for the job. The government conducts online exams to recruit candidates as Community Health Officers.

Latest Notification

The exam was held on 17th April 2022. NHM (National Health Mission), Madhya Pradesh has released the notification to recruit the candidates for Community Health Officer positions.

Registration

The steps to fill out the application form are given below:

Step 1: Download the application from the official website.

Step 2:Filled in the application and it shall be submitted to the respective district medical or health officer of the district to which the candidate is applying or the candidate can apply online.

Step 3:Fill in all the details and upload Self-attested copies of the certificates required.

Step 4:Pay the exam fee and submit the form.

Step 5:Save it for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria

NHM CHO Educational Qualifications 2022

The educational qualification for appearing for the Community Health Officer examination is tabulated below:

The candidates applying for the CHO examination should have completed B.Sc. (Nursing), post-basic B.Sc. (Nursing). Or The candidate must have completed BAMS from a recognized Institute.

NHM CHO Overall Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria decided by National Health Mission (NHM) for the Community Health Officer are given below in the table which is based on the previous year's advertisement as eligibility criteria for 2022 have not been released yet.

Number of Attempts	The candidate can attempt the examination, till reaches the maximum age limit.

Application Fee

The application fee for the general category candidates is Rs 600 and for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman it is Rs 300.
