ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) is a government-owned enterprise and the largest producer of oil and natural gas, accounting for 70% of the Indian domestic production. IOC, BPCL, and HPCL companies use crude oil as raw material supplied by ONGC. ONGC recruits employees for several posts, such as diploma, medical officer, technician, sales assistant, graduate training etc. ONGC will conduct the exam to recruit 21 HR Executives and Public Relations Officers.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is going to release the admit card for the Computer Based Test (CBT) for the post of Junior Dealing Assistant (Material Management), Junior Engineering Assistant (Electronics), Junior Marine Radio Assistant, Junior Technician (Boiler) and Junior Assistant (Official Language) today i.e. June 17, 2022 on ongcindia.com. The candidates can check ONGC Admit Card updates by login into the official website. The exam is scheduled to be held on June 24, 2022 (Friday).

Registration

Following documents should be ready before applying for the ONGC recruitment:

Applicants can edit their application form before submission.

Step 1: ONGC Registration

Applicants are required to register themselves on the ONGC website by agreeing to the Terms & Conditions of the recruitment process.
Now click on sign up after selecting the post the applicant wants to register for.
Applicants need to enter the following details:
- Applicant’s Name

- Email ID
Applicants will receive their application sequence number/user id and password on their email id.

Step 2: ONGC Application Form

In the next step, the application form is to be filled in the following step-by-step procedure:

Visit the ONGC website and log in using the application sequence number and password generated in the first step.
Go to the “Application Form” option at the top right corner of the screen fill the important details in the application form, such as:

- Education Details
- Applicant Personal Details
- Upload Documents like photographs, signature, certificates, and documents
The last step is to submit the application form and payment of application fees.

Uploading Documents: Instructions

Following instructions are to be followed while uploading the following documents:

Photograph

A recent passport size photograph with a light background
The scanned image size in Jpg/jpeg format should be less than 50 kb.

Signature

The signature should be on a blank page with black ink.
The scanned image should be less than 20 kb in Jpg/jpeg.

Educational Qualification

HR Executive	Candidates with an MBA with specialisation in Personnel Management/HRD/HRM with a minimum of 60 per cent marks can apply. Candidates with a post-graduate degree in Personnel Management/IR/Labour Welfare with a minimum of 60 per cent marks can also apply. Minimum 2 years full-time post-graduate diploma in PM/IR/Labour Welfare with minimum of 60 per cent marks can also apply in this recruitment drive. PGDM from IIM with a minimum of 60 per cent marks is eligible to apply.
Public Relations Officer	Candidates with a Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 2 years diploma in public relations can apply. Candidates with a Postgraduate degree in journalism/mass communication with a minimum of 60 per cent marks can also apply.

Exam Pattern

The ONGC exam will consist of three subjects such as concerned subjects, Aptitude Tests and General Awareness. The aspirants will have to appear either for written test or computer based test.

ONGC Exam type (Question pattern): Objective type and multiple choice questions.
Duration of time: 3 hours.
There will be no negative marking in case of marking wrong answers.
Kindly note it down that the questions of the General Awareness paper will be the Civil Service standards.
The Aptitude test consists of the Verbal/Non-verbal questions and Reading Comprehension.
