PGIMER entrance exam is conducted by Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh to grant admissions to students in its PG Diploma courses such as DM/MCH.
The qualifying marks in PGIMER is 55% for General, 50% for SC/ ST/ OBS and 45% for Bhutanese students.
Qualified candidates will have to participate in the counseling rounds to claim one of the 223 Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats in its residency-cum-training program of three years.
PGIMER 2021 Admit Cards for MD/MCH courses will be released in Dec 2021.
PGIMER 2022 Result (January Session) is expected to be announced on December 6, 2021 for M.Sc, M.Sc (MLT), DM/M.Ch, and Ph.D., Fellowship and Post Doctoral Fellowship. Candidates can check the results on the official website by using there user ID and password.

Candidates will now have to pay the application fee based on the course they have chosen to apply for and their category. Payment can be done through online mode like Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
If a candidate is unable to complete the entire application process in one go because of any issue, they can save the draft and logout of their account. The form will be saved as is and candidates can log in again later and can fill up the complete form and make the payment. Candidates must note that payment of the fees is the full and final step of the application process. Once the fees are paid, no changes will be allowed in the application form.
Candidates will have to carry the printout of their copy of the eChallan or iCollect receipt with them for all future reference related to the admission through PGIMER 2020 till the time of the admission to the candidates’ preferred and chosen course.
Candidates have to upload a scanned image of his/her passport size photograph and signature as per the required specifications set by PGIMER conducting body. The scanner resolution should be set to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch) for optimum results.
