The NTPC full form is Non-Technical Popular Categories. The RRB NTPC exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to recruit candidates for various posts in the non-technical categories in the Indian Railways. The candidates who have completed their graduation or have passed class XII can apply for the RRB NTPC posts.
The RRB NTPC 2022 exam is conducted in four stages – CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document verification. The syllabus of the RRB NTPC exam is of Class 10, 12, and graduate levels and the exam is conducted in 15 languages.

Registration
The RRB NTPC 2022 application form will be released online mode on the official websites of RRB.
The steps to apply for the RRB NTPC 2022 exam are discussed below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Indian Railways.
Step 2:Click the ‘Recruitments’ tab on the Home page.
Step 3: Select the RRB as per your state.
Step 4: The candidate will be directed to the official website of the specific RRB of their state/zone.
Step 5: Click on the link ‘New Registration’.
Step 6: Choose the RRB Zone for which one is willing to apply.
Step 7: Enter your educational qualification details and the community you belong to.
Step 8: Click on the ‘Check Availability’ button.
Step 9: Fill up the registration form by filling up details like Name, Date of Birth, Aadhar Card, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Class 10th Details, Mobile no. and the Email ID.
Step 10: Click on the ’Continue’ button.
Step 11: The candidate will receive an OTP on their registered email id and mobile number on successful registration.
Step 12: Login and fill up the application form by entering the details such as marks obtained in class 12th, community, gender, nationality, religion, etc.
Step 13: Click on the “Save” button.
Step 14: Pay the application fee.
Step 15: Upload your photograph and signature as specified.
Step 16: Submit your application form.

The syllabus of the RRB NTPC 2022 exam contains the topics and sub-topics from which the questions will be asked in the recruitment exam. Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible to apply for various posts of RRB NTPC 2022, one must satisfy the academic eligibility criteria set by the authority. The RRB NTPC 2022 eligibility criteria include Nationality, Age and Educational Qualification. RRB NTPC Nationality
A candidate must belong to the following nationalities:
- An Indian citizen
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with to permanently settle in India.
RRB NTPC Age Limit
- The candidates who are applying for the Undergraduate Level posts (After Class XII) must be between 18 to 30 years of age.
- The candidates applying for Graduate level posts must be between 18 to 33 years of age.
- The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) offers relaxation to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories as per the Government’s norm.

Application Fee
The candidates can pay the RRB NTPC 2022 exam fees both offline and online. The candidates can make an online payment via Netbanking, Credit/ Debit/ Rupay/ Visa/ Master Card. The applicants can also pay the application fee offline via E-challan where cash is to be deposited at SBI bank.

Exam Pattern

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern: CBT-1
- The authorities conduct the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for screening the aspirants.
- The duration of the exam is 1.5 hours (90 minutes). For the PWD candidates, the duration of the exam is 120 Minutes.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for every wrong attempt question.
- No marks are deducted if a question is left unanswered.

- The normalized score of RRB NTPC CBT-1 will be used for shortlisting the candidates for 2nd Stage CBT based on merit.
- The level of difficulty of the questions in the exam varies depending on the levels of posts.
- The duration of the exam is 1.5 Hrs (90 minutes).
- There is a negative marking with 1/3 of the marks assigned to each question being deducted for every wrong answer.
