Railway Recruitment Boards or RRB is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Railways under the Railway Recruitment Control Board. The board is under the jurisdiction of the Govt. of India and conducts various recruitment examinations for posts of Assistant Loco Pilot, Non-technical and Technical category, Group C, Group D, and other posts in departments and offices of Indian railways.
Indian Railway has announced that a total of 1,48,463 vacancies in various departments in the session 2022-23. As per the latest report by Department of Expenditure on Pay and Allowances, 21.75 % positions are vacant. PM Narendra Modi has assured 10 lakh jobs under ‘Mission Mode’.
The candidates aspiring for different positions available with RRB are required to read the notification carefully and apply on the official website in online mode only. The candidates have to fill up the application forms available on the official website.
The steps to apply for the RRB recruitment drive is as follows:
Step 1: Visit the official website of RRB i.e., www.rrb.gov.in
Step 2: Under the list of latest notifications, select the most appropriate ones and click on it.
Step 3: Select the tab for new registration and further proceed to complete the application form
Step 4: Candidate will receive registration number and password on the registered mail-id.
Step 5: Log in again using credentials received over mail and click on ‘apply now.
Step 6: Fill out the details to complete the application form and proceed.
Step 7: Upload all the relevant documents in the specified dimensions and submit.
Step 8: Proceed for the application fee payment process in an online manner via any of the provided options.
Step 9: Once the fee is paid, a candidate can save a copy of the filled application form along with the fee payment receipt for future references.
