The SLAT exam, also known as the Symbiosis Law Admission Test, is an entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to undergraduate law courses offered by various law schools under its umbrella. The SLAT exam is typically conducted in an online mode and consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) related to various subjects such as Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge.

What is Slat 2025
SLAT also known as Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). It is a common entrance exam for admission in 4 Symbiosis law schools (SLS), which are SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur. The courses in which admission is offered are BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB and BBA LLB. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SLAT annually. The exam shall be held in computer-based test mode. Candidates who qualify the SLAT exam are eligible to participate in the further selection process, which includes group discussion, personal interview, and a written ability test. Successful candidates are then granted admission to the law courses offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University.

Steps to apply for SLAT 2025: The steps to apply for SLAT 2025 is online entirely, check below.
- Visit the official website of SLAT 2025: set-test.org and click on ‘Apply Now'.
- Click ‘register’ and fill out the registration form.
- Upload the scanned images.
- Click on 'save and continue'.
- Candidates will receive an Id and password on their registered email id and mobile number. Keep them safe.
- After this candidates have to fill out the application form.
Make payment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have cleared their 12th class examination from any national or state board of education are eligible to apply for SLAT 2025.
- Candidates must have acquired a minimum of 45% in their exam. Candidates from the SC/ST category can apply if they have a minimum of 40%.
- Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to the submission of a passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

- The registration fee for SLAT 2025 is INR 2,250/- This amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Along with the registration fee, you will also need to pay the program registration fee for each programme. The registration fee for programs is INR 1000/- (non-refundable and non-transferable)

Counselling
- The Symbiosis Law Admission Test - SLAT 2025 counselling will commence after the results of SLAT 2025 tentatively in June / July 2025. The admissions committee will release around three merit lists during the counselling process.
- The counselling schedule for SLAT 2025 for all SLAT participating colleges will be posted on the official website (set-test.org). Candidates will be shortlisted for the SLAT counselling process, which includes Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test (WAT).
- The law schools that are a part of SLAT 2025 will conduct the counselling process separately. The SLAT 2025 counselling process will be held in online mode for the students who will clear SLAT 2025. The counselling round will be conducted to shortlist students for the law programme based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. The shortlisted students have to present their documents for verification. After the verification of documents is over, the final list of the names of the shortlisted candidates will be prepared by the law school. Students can find out all the details related to SLAT 2025 counselling below.
