TISSNET or Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test is a gateway to more than 55 courses offered by the NAAC Grade A university. TISSNET is conducted online for 100 minutes in which 100 questions must be answered. The entire exam process consists of two Stages – Stage I and Stage II. Stage I would require the candidate to undertake TISSNET, and TISSMAT/TISSPAT exam. Upon clearing Stage I of the exam, candidates would proceed for Stage II. Stage II of the admission process would consist of Personal Assesmentments (PA) in which a candidate has to face Extempore Rounds and Personal Interview round

In order to fulfil eligibility for TISSNET 2022, a candidate needs to fulfil the below mentioned criteria:
The national written entrance exam is just the first round for selection in TISS. You also need to appear for Pre Interview Test (TISSMAT/TISSPAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds to get finally qualified. These admission rounds of TISSNET will be held separately for each campus of TISS. It is only after all these rounds are completed that the TISS authorities will come up with the final selection list. Your final score will be based on your performance in all the rounds.
Candidates can choose to register for a maximum of 3 TISS courses, by paying a registration fee of INR 1000 + Bank Charges per subject.
