Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will start the admission process for TS DOST 2022 online on its official website i.e., dost.cgg.gov.in in the 1st week of July 2022. The whole process of admission for DOST 2022 is online. Aspirants who have completed their 10+2 examination with minimum qualifying marks are eligible to get admission in the DOST 2022.

TS DOST or Degree Online Services, Telangana is a state-level conducting body that organizes DOST 2022 admission. It is a centralized online admission process that seeks admission to Under-Graduate courses (Arts, Science, and Commerce). DOST 2022 admission provides admission to various programs like B. A, B.Com (Honors), B.Com (Vocational), BBM, BSW, BCA, etc. These courses are offered by various private and government colleges across the state of Telangana.

TS DOST provides admission to the Under Graduate courses at colleges that are affiliated with six participating universities – Kakatiya University, Osmania University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Telangana University, Satavahana University, and Palamuru University.

Registration

To fill out the application form for DOST 2022, applicants need to register themselves on its official website with their phone number and email id. Candidates along with the DOST 2022 application form, need to upload scanned images of all the required documents. Applicants will have to DOST 2022 application fee as part of the DOST 2022 application process.

How to Fill the application form for TS DOST 2022:

Step 1: Applicants should follow the below step-by-step process to fill out the DOST 2022 application form:
Step 2: Go to the official portal of TS DOST i.e., dost.cgg.gov.in
Step 3: On the left side of the homepage, select the tab ‘candidate pre-registration.
Step 4: Now, candidates need to enter details like Candidate’s name, Qualifying exam, Date of Birth, Hall ticket number, Aadhaar Number, Mobile number, Father’s name and click on the ‘Aadhaar Authentication’ button.
Step 5: To the registered mobile number, an OTP will be sent. Candidates need to add the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
Step 6: On the computer screen, candidates will get to see their DOST ID.
Step 7: Select the button ‘proceed for payment’ and pay the registration fee of DOST 2022. Candidates can pay the registration fee through e-wallet, debit card, credit card, or internet banking.
Step 8: To access the DOST portal, aspirants will receive a 6-digit PIN on their registered mobile number.
Step 9: Now to log in to the DOST portal, add the DOST ID and six-digit PIN.
Step 10: Upload scanned copies of documents, and enter marks and contact details.
Step 11: Upload scanned images of all the supporting documents.
Step 12: To fix mistakes or make changes in the DOST 2022 application form using ‘preview’.
Step 13: Submit the application form for DOST 2022.
Step 14: Applicants will get an auto-generated message once the application form for DOST 2022 is successfully accepted. For future references, note the DOST application number.
Step 15: Now, candidates need to select the web options and choose the universities or colleges of their own choice.
Step 16: Additional information will be provided for CBCS courses.
Step 17: Aspirants will have to give many combination subjects for different CBCS priorities.
Step 18: Now, click on the option “Save Web Options with CBCS.”
Step 19: Lastly, the message “Your submitted web options were saved successfully” will appear on the screen.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in TS DOST 2022, aspirants need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria that are discussed below:

Aspirants must have passed their qualifying exam conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State i.e., BIETS, or any other board in order to qualify for admission.
Aspirants who clear the qualifying exam besides the BIETS, ICSE, or CBSE board, then their respective schools/ institutes heads will have to ensure that the aspirants must submit the eligibility certificate which needs to be issued by the BIETS.
Candidates who will pass their qualifying exams on the first attempt will get preference in the admissions process.

TS DOST 2022 Eligibility Criteria for Different Courses:

The eligibility requirement for TS DOST 2022 for different courses are:

Applicants who pass the 10+2 (vocational) medical lab technology course from the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State, or from any other corresponding board can get admission to the B.A. or B. Com courses under DOST colleges, except for candidates who are pursuing additional ‘Bridge course’. For them, they will be able to get admission to different B.Sc. courses under DOST colleges.
Applicants who want to take admission to the B. Sc courses should have passed the qualifying examination and must have secured at least 40% of marks in the subject in which they want to study at the UG level.
Candidates will not be eligible to get admission in the B.Sc. courses who have passed the qualifying exam in the arts or commerce streams.
Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam in any of the streams- Arts, Science, and commerce are eligible to apply for B. Com, B.A, BSW, BBA, BBM, and BCA programs.
Applicants seeking must obtain 40% of marks in the qualifying exam to get admission to the BSW program.

Reservation

Telangana State Council of Higher Education reserves seats for candidates for admission from various backward categories/ under-represented to different colleges. The reservation will be possible if aspirants produce valid documents that they belong to a particular downtrodden community. The seats that are reserved by different participating universities/ institutes in TS DOST 2022 are given in the below table:

Counselling

After the announcement of the TS DOST 2022 result, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education will organize the DOST online counseling session for admission into various UG courses. Only the shortlisted candidates will be able to participate in the process of counseling. Candidates who are eligible to take part in the process of counseling have to register themselves on the official portal of TS DOST i.e., dost.cgg.gov.in by filling out the application form The TS DOST counseling is organized for allotment of seats to the shortlisted aspirants in different participating institutes of Telangana. The process of counseling will be done by the counseling committee.

Aspirants will be shortlisted on the basis of the cutoff score. Then the candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the TS DOST 2022 at one of the given counseling centers. Candidates need to visit the colleges to get their documents verified during the counseling session of DOST 2022, to which they have been assigned. Simply visiting a college will not guarantee the admission of the candidates, they should also pass the extra steps in the DOST 2022 admissions process.

Application Fee

Applicants will need to pay an amount of Rs. 200 as a registration fee once the pre-registration process is done. The mode to pay DOTS 2022 registration fee is online i.e., Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card. Candidates need to check carefully all the details that appeared on the screen before paying the application fee. Candidates will get a DOST ID and six-digit PIN on their registered number through SMS.
