About
Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (formerly known as UPSEE) is a state-level test for candidates seeking admission in various UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering, CSIT, Management, Pharmacy, etc. Through UPCET 2022 exam candidates can take admission into colleges affiliated with AKTU, MMMUT, and other state universities of Uttar Pradesh.
Latest Notification
The last date of the application form for UPCET 2022 has been extended to May 22 2022, through CUET for various UG courses. The authority will conduct UPCET 2022 for the candidates seeking admission in various UG and PG Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, and CSIT courses. It must be noted that NTA will not conduct any entrance examination for B.Tech admissions. JEE Main scores will be accepted for admission into B. Tech (4 years) and B.Arch admission will be done through NATA.
Registration
How to Fill UPCET Application Form 2022?
UPCET Application Form 2022 can be filled on the official website – upcet.nta.nic.in. Candidates have to follow four steps – online registration, filling up the form, uploading a photo and signature, and fee payment. Candidates are advised to read the official UPCET 2021 Notification before beginning the application process.
Step 1: UPCET Registration 2022
- Visit the official website – upcet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link for UG/ PG based on your course.
- Read the instructions mentioned and select the declaration to proceed.
- You will be redirected to a new page. Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email Id and create your password.
- An application number will be sent to you by SMS and mail.
Step 2: Fill UPCET Application Form 2022
- Log in again using your UPCET application number and password.
- Fill in your parent’s name, gender, Aadhar Card Number, category, and other required details.
- Provide your qualification details such as the name of the board and year of passing along with the percentage of marks.
- Enter your address, locality, City, State, and District with the pin code.
- Select the courses you want to apply for and the exam center of your preference.
- Fill out the form very carefully to avoid any mistakes as the same details will be printed on UPCET 2022 Admit Card.
Step 3: Upload the Required Documents
Candidates have to upload their scanned images of passport size photograph, signature, and disability certificate (as applicable) in the prescribed specifications:

Step 4: Pay UPCET Application Fee 2022
Candidates have to pay UPCET registration fees in online mode only through debit card/ credit card/ net banking and wallets. The registration fees for various categories are different:

Eligibility Criteria
UPCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
UPCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria includes various parameters such as educational qualification, age limit, domicile, nationality, etc.
- Age: There is no age limit for admissions based on UPCET 2022.
- Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to apply for UPCET 2022 however, foreign nationals/ PIOs are also eligible.
- Domicile: It is not mandatory for candidates to have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh for admissions based on UPCET. However, candidates who do not have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh will only be eligible for admission to 20% of the seats.
- Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification required for admissions based on UPCET 2022 varies according to the program.
- B.Pharma/ B.Des/ BHMCT/ B.Voc/ BFA/ BFAD/ MCA (Integrated)/ MBA (Integrated): Candidates must have passed Class 12th or equivalent for admission.
- B.Tech/ B.Pharma (Lateral Entry): Candidates must have passed a valid Diploma or must be a B.Sc graduate.
- MCA/ MBA/ M.Sc./ M.Tech: Candidates must have passed a valid undergraduate degree from a recognized institute.

Counselling
UPCET 2022 Counselling
Candidates who qualify UPCET 2022 are eligible for the counselling process for admission to respective courses. Based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the exam, a merit list will be prepared. Candidates scoring higher marks would be placed higher on the merit list whereas those scoring lower marks would hover at the bottom. Candidates who will feature in the merit list would be called for the document verification process. After the document verification candidates would be allowed to take part in the registration and choice locking process.
UPCET 2022 Counselling would be done based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam as well as the choices locked by the candidate at the time of choice locking process.
