Eligibility Criteria

The candidates aspiring to give the WBSSC exam should possess the following educational qualifications and should be within the given age limit.

The minimum educational qualification required is that the candidates must have passed their 12th standard or equivalent exam from a recognized board or institution.
As per the official notification of WBSSC, the candidate’s minimum and maximum age limit to apply for the WBSSC exam are as follows:

The medium of the examination is in both Hindi and English.
There are four sections in the examination. They include General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Arithmetic, and General English.

For Group D:

The examination for Group D posts will take place in the form of written offline mode.
The total duration of the examination is 60 minutes.
The examination is 60 marks.
There is no negative marking for the wrong answers.
The medium of the examination is both Hindi and English.
