Master School of Management, an institute approved for conducting Two Year Full Time Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) by the AICTE, New Delhi and Three Year, Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) by CCS University, Meerut came into being in 1996 as a philanthropic, non-profit making venture under the aegis of Siya Ram Kasturi Devi Educational Society comprising of renowned academicians, business professionals and social activists.
Maintaining the Award winning spree at the National and Global Platforms. IILM Graduate School of Management have once again been awarded an Innovative B-School award for “Innovation in Building Academic & Industry Interface” at the 23rd World HRD Congress held at Mumbai on February 18, 2015.
After being rated in the “A++ category” for three consecutive years , IILM Graduate School of Management has been accorded highly prestigious “A+++ Rating” in the B-School Survey conducted by reputed business magazine “Business India”.
The ranking has been published in the issue dated December 8-21, 2014. SMS Varanasi shares All India 51st position with 14 other B Schools of the country including Apeejay School of Management, FMS BHU and NDIM , New Delhi.
Management studies have always mandated summer internships as an integral part of curriculums, as , it is the best way to apply all that has been learnt The summer internship also stimulates in shaping the sense of skills and abilities of the students as well as this practical exposure helps students in applying their existing skill set and skills requirements in the field, thereby helping them to know the knowledge and skill gaps .On completion of the internship when students get back to classes they along with their mentors bridge this gap. As students get to intern in various organizations it also helps them to develop a deeper insight in charting their career paths.
At MSM summer internship as part of the curriculum, each student is also required to undertake a project work, for a period of approximately eight weeks, of immediate relevance to the concerned organization. During this period the student works in the joint mentorship of a senior manager of the company and senior faculty of the institute. Besides, the project, the student works to understand the enterprise in the holistic manner. For this students interact and collect facts from various stakeholders, including the enterprise. The information collected is processed and analyzed to generate findings amenable to assist the decision making in the enterprise. Thus, this process is on the on one hand exposes the students to the nuances of business world and on the other provide impartial analysis of the problems of the enterprise to help it in decision making.
Business Plan : With opportunities galore, entrepreneurial skills in budding managers are set to face stern test from counterparts around. In a world, where survival of the fittest is a proven phenomenon, a well knitted business plan and its' precise execution is the need of the hour. However, the onus is on the individual to come up with a feasible plan that has been given a shape after much deliberation on all facets of business. It is this aspect of learning that makes the contribution of an institute very much pertinent. The guile of a student, eagerness to learn the nuances of the trade coupled with the untiring effort of the faculty to polish the aptitude and mould the attitude, instill an idea of a realistic entrepreneurial venture ahead.
Research Project : Tactical analysis and prudent interpretation is a hallmark of a business leader. Management horizons recognize the magnitude of research and development and research methodology in decision making. At MSM, students are actively engaged in research projects to develop skills and attitude to investigate and analyze issues and revalidate existing facts in systematic manner. Research projects at MSM are means to encourage students to explore new horizon of knowledge and develop inquisitiveness, creativity and innovativeness.
Scholarship 1
Candidate having Past Academic Record will receive a scholarship under the following criteria for PGDM Programme:
Academic record Throughout 70-79% will get Scholarship of Rs. 80000
Academic record Throughout 80-89% will get Scholarship of Rs. 100000
Academic record Throughout above 90% will get Scholarship of Rs. 200000
Candidate will be given scholarship on the basis of marks obtained in management aptitude test:
Students who have scored 70 plus - 80 in CAT/XAT (percentile) will get Scholarship of Rs. 80000
Students who have scored above 80 - 90 in CAT/XAT (percentile) will get Scholarship of Rs. 10000
Students who have scored above 90 - 95 in CAT/XAT (percentile) will get Scholarship of Rs. 150000
Students who have scored above 95 - 100 in CAT/XAT (percentile) will get Scholarship of Rs. 200000
Students who have scored 70 - 80 in CMAT/SNAP/NMAT (percentile) or above 400 score in MAT/ATMA will get Scholarship of Rs. 30000
Students who have scored above 80 - 90 in CMAT/SNAP/NMAT (percentile) or above 650 score in MAT/ATMA will get Scholarship of Rs. 40000
Students who have scored above 90 - 95 in CMAT/SNAP/NMAT (percentile) or above 700 score in MAT/ATMA will get Scholarship of Rs. 60000
Students who have scored above 95 - 100 in CMAT/SNAP/NMAT (percentile) or above 750 score in MAT/ATMA will get Scholarship of Rs. 100000
To empower women, MSM offers 10% Financial Reward (Scholarship) in tuition fee to girl students.
