Eligibilty Criteria

Before applying, all candidates must meet YVUCET 2022 eligibility criteria set by the conducting body. Here are the Eligibility Criteria of YVUCET 2022:


  • Candidate must be the citizen of India.
  • Candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as set by the educational institutions of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Foreign and NRI candidates have to satisfy the rules of the University in which he/she want to take admission.

Academic Qualification

  • Candidates must have a graduate degree with minimum 40% aggregate marks from any recognized university.
  • Applicants who have appeared for the final year qualifying examination are also eligible to apply
  • Academic qualification also depends on course you wish to apply for.
    There is no stated age limit to appear for the exam.
Exam Pattern

YVUCET 2022 will be an offline test. Candidates will have to answer the questions asked in an OMR sheet provided to them. They must note that they can only use a black or a blue ball point pen to mark the answers in the OMR sheet.

1.VYUCET 2022 is of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
2.The total marks for the same is 100.
3.VYUCET 2022 comprises of multiple choices questions (MCQ) with single correct answers.
4.The weightage of MCQs in each subject is given in the table below.
5.The paper will be divided into 3 sections in total - Section A, B and C.
6.There is no negative marking.
7.There will be no negative marking if a candidate leaves the answer blank.
8.An answer will be marked incorrect if a candidate marks two options.


YVUCET 2022 will be based on the syllabus from the undergraduate level exam or the previous qualifying exam based on the course the candidate is applying to. A list of the important topics is given below: -
