Eligibilty Criteria

The eligibility criteria for clerk is mentioned below under different sub-headings.

Educational Qualification

To be qualified for the job of Indian Army Clerk, each applicant must meet the army clerk requirements, which are as follows:

Age Limit Educational Qualification
Maximum Age Limit: 23 years The candidate must have passed 10+2/ Equivalent from a recognized board with at least 60 % marks in aggregate and 50 % marks in each subject.
Minimum Age Limit: 17. 5 years The candidates must have studied English/Mathematics/Accounts till their 10th or 12th.

Physical Measurement

Before applying for the position of Indian Army Clerk, candidates must meet the Indian Army's physical measurement requirements. Candidates should double-check the army clerk's height and other information. All of the prerequisites are listed in detail in the table below:

Candidates who possess the following certifications will be granted respective exemptions in the case of height and other physical requirements:

Age Limit

For Indian Army Clerk positions, the minimum age limit is 17 and a half years, while the maximum age limit is 23 years. The age restriction for army clerks is not relaxed by the Indian Army.

Nationality

According to the mandate of the Indian Army, only Indian citizens can apply for the job of Indian Army Clerk. The Indian Army Clerk position is open to candidates from all around the country. They must, however, present authentic proof of Indian citizenship throughout the recruiting process or their applications would be rejected.

Number of Attempts

After achieving the minimum age limit for the Indian Army Clerk, applicants can take as many attempts as they desire under the Indian Army Clerk eligibility 2022. Candidates can apply until they reach the maximum age limit for army clerks, which is 23 years old.
